I wish I can give 0 stars Me, My Brother, and Mom decides to try this place out as we passing by . We was all craving fish and chips so we decided to try 3 different entrees to go. Me I got fish and chips , my mom got half a rack of ribs, and my brother got the pot roast. So we waited about less than 25 minutes. I can say about maybe 18 minutes. So we got our food and we noticed that the portion they gave my mom and brother was small. And my fish and chips was missing the chips part I had another side which was like this friend onion.Mind you we are still in the parking lot at this point so we decided to go back in and get our orders corrected. So the young girl who took our order looked at our food and apologized for the portions. And told us that my chips nd my brother pot roast, and my mom’s barbecue ribs will be done in a couple minutes. So we thought nothing of it and waited patiently because we understood that it was a game tonight and we waited patiently. So a middle age lady with blonde hair comes out and ask for our number ( we thought nothing of it) I just thought she needed to look up our order. So her in the young girl went to the back and then few moments later the middle age lady with blonde hair said our food with be out in a moment so I called her over to ask if she can reheat my fish and chips because by the time everything would come out it would be cold. (At this moment I didn’t know it was a issue at all) Then she accused me and my family of eating the food and told us that she no longer needed our services there anymore and the manner and tone of her voice totally change and I’m not gonna lie I’m in complete shock and I’m so upset because I don’t understand how you can treat a person in that manner who is being cooperative and understanding and being nothing but patient. Rather you feel if we are in the wrong . You shouldn’t treat or talk to a person like that. I’m pretty sure they have cameras outside there establishment I was driving a ford fusion( silver) if they look at the time we got the food and we came back inside . Im highly upset of how they treated me and my family and disappointed . They told me the GM name is Jaymes. I hope I can talk to him soon to express my concerns. Read moreThere seems to be a consistent theme if you read all the reviews for this restaurant, i.e. that the service is poor to mediocre. My wife and I decided to see for ourselves and intentionally chose a time (Tuesday evening around 9pm) when the restaurant would not be busy.
When we arrived we were greeted and seated promptly. Shortly afterwards, our waitress arrived and took our drink order, and less than 5 minutes later she was back (without our drinks) to take our food order. About 5 minutes later (10 minutes after we ordered), our drinks (2 beers) arrived. I began to suspect that we were going to experience the same issues noted by others, i.e. long delays between order and delivery, and inattentive service. I was right. As we sat and waited for our food order we looked around and counted the people in the restaurant. There were 17 customers and from what we could see, there were about 4-5 servers and one manager to take care of them. As we waited we watched as other customers began to look up, get up, and look around for their servers and orders. We also watched the manager wander thru the area 5 or 6 times, but not once did he check with us or any of the other customers to see how things were going. Our food finally came and my burger was cooked properly and was actually quite tasty. My wife's wings were extremely over-cooked, but after waiting nearly 40 minutes from arriving to getting our food, we were not about to send them back.
Throughout all this our waitress did check in a couple of times, but it was clear she was not interested in giving us great customer service, but rather the minimum necessary to get us in, out, and to get her gratuity.
There are so many restaurants in Melbourne who provide mediocre service and fair to mediocre food and you can add this one to the list. What amazes me is that it seems this restaurant, despite the consistent feedback that their service it terrible, continues down the same road. Why even get into the food business if mediocre experience is the best you can deliver?.

Read moreI wish I could give the server 5 stores just for herself because she was exceptional but everything else was absolutely awful. We specifically chose Gator’s Dockside because they had high ratings on the Bring Fido app and wanted to include our recent rescue Staffy to dinner with us while we watched football. We kindly asked our server if one of the tvs out on the patio could have the channel changed to a football game we wanted to watch. The manager (I’m sorry) came out and asked which tv we wanted and our dog, who was abused by men previously, started barking at him. I am a cvt and fear-free trained and know when a dog is getting ready to react and he was not and was barking out of fear. So then the manager proceeded to say that he can’t act like that out on the patio and if he does it again, he’ll be asked to leave. We get that and respect his wishes. However, when I offered to change the channel myself so he doesn’t have to go up to my dog, he disrespectfully said that he also has rescues and they don’t act like that and behavior like that isn’t welcome, especially if there are people around. Mind you, there was absolutely NO ONE ELSE on the patio. You would think if you actually had knowledge of rescues, you’d know my dog was reacting out of fear and not of aggression. The manager eventually changed the channel for us, my boyfriend said thank you and crickets. Then the manager said, “You’re welcome by the way.” My boyfriend said, “Thank you.” And he said, “Oh I heard you.” So if you use the Bring Fido app, make sure you’re aware that this location doesn’t like any bully breeds. We felt completely uncomfortable by him and chose to end our meal abruptly and ask the server for our check. We’ll watch the football games from our hotel room, I guess.
