I wrote a review previously and got a truly rude and harsh response from the owner. I don't know if this business knows what customer service is? Please go read my previous review and their response for reference. My review told others not to attend this restaurant when there is far better restaurants in Saugatuck that will actually have good food and good service. The owner had a problem with this said "To simply tell people not to come here because everything is terrible is unfair and extreme." I'm sorry but, isn't that what a review is? A review is an assessment about something based on someones thoughts and opinion. My opinion is that this restaurant is not worth costumers time or money. If you don't want a bad review then improve your restaurant? The owner continued to defend his/her restaurant by saying they are dealing with COVID and have a staff that is young and new. I'm sorry but that is not my problem. That is your restaurants problem. I don't need your sad story about why I should have sympathy for you. I was understanding but this was the worst dining experiences I have ever had, and other reviews say that same. I have been to other small owned restaurants after COVID, and they far exceeded everything about my experience here so frankly, that's not an excuse. The owner continues to say "Maybe next time try working politely with the staff and management and I'm sure you'll find that they will be understanding and helpful at most restaurants." I am sorry, but were you there to see my every response and action? Did you see how I responded? No. You didn't. I was polite even though I had to ask for things multiple times from your employees. I tipped a good tip too. So don't act like this is a me problem and not your own restaurants problem. I did work politely with the staff and all I was doing was trying to inform other people not to waste their time here like I did. Your responses to these bad reviews are just making yourself and your restaurant look worse. Being rude to your customers and trying so hard to come up with excuses? Geez... that is a rough look! Read any of the other responses this owner have left and you will see the same excuses and rude comments. It is truly unbelievable and no owner like this deserves to have any business. I have never left a review in my life but this felt very necessary and I think the other 1 star reviews left about this restaurant would say the same. So I'll say it again, don't waste your money on this restaurant. DO...

First Impressions is my first thought when leaving a review. Everyone's first impression should be a great one! This is what makes a business successful. When I walked in the door the waitress and possible owner was clearly overwhelmed, stating it will take 30 minutes for your food. I thought that is okay, we will have dinner here. She then rolled her eyes. Everyone in the restaurant was embarrassed including me. My family and I get seated, taking 10 minutes for our waitress to approach the table to get us menus and get our drink order. We ordered pizza and breadsticks. We received our food in a reasonable amount of time. Food was okay, not the best. I had to ask for napkins along with silverware, drink refills, a box for our pizza and even the check. This is unacceptable. The possible owner approached the table to take my credit card and he asked if I would like to leave a tip. Of course I would leave a tip no matter the service. (I left a tip) What I did indicate to him the energy and professionalism was horrible. He indicated, " 2 kids called in tonight, it's Columbus Holiday, I could have not opened for the evening but I opened." Never once saying sorry about our experience. I hope the staff along with the owners get the proper training on how to maintain professional even when your busy and not properly staffed. We will...

Tuesday July 25. 2023. The elderly waitress was extremely rude! I ordered 2 16” pizzas and bread sticks($50+) while the rest of the family was walking there from shopping. Told her I would be sitting outside. Did not say the food was to go, was not asked if it was to go. My wife showed up and ordered a beer, told the waitress my husband already ordered food. So she brought her a beer in a glass. While waiting for her beer my wife moved a table out of the sun to some chairs in the shade. My daughter and her boyfriend arrived. He went in to order a beer she yelled at him that the table was moved, so he did not order a beer. Then the pizza’s were brought out in to go boxes. So now the wife has a beer in a glass, boyfriend no beer and boxed pizza, while the table next to has theirs on a tray and beers and waters. Then crabby pants waitress comes back out and tells my wife she has to pay for her beer now as like she was wanting us to leave. She brought my wife her bill for the beer and she charged us for the waters. Sadly my wife ate one piece while drinking her beer and I walked away with the pizzas. So she lost revenue in at least 2-3 more beers. Pizzas were good, service WORST I...

Worst dining experience ever. First, we were seated on patio. We had a party of 4 but were seated at a table with only 3 chairs. When I asked if I can pull a chair from a nearby empty table, she said that’s against their policy and I asked her to go find out. Clearly we are not sitting on each other’s laps. She came back saying she got permission to grab a nearby chair. We had to ask for menus. When asked for our drink orders, I asked if they carry vodka- she said she didn’t know and went inside to ask. They don’t. Only beers and wine. So the 4 of us each ordered a beer. She came out with 1 beer at a time to deliver. We ordered mozzarella sticks- they were good. When asked to order another round of beers, she came back again 1 at a time to deliver while the first 4 empty bottles were waving at her but she clearly couldn’t take them inside. 8 bottles on a really small table is a little much. We decided not to order anything else and leave. When asked her to bring check, she gave us the wrong check and when I asked her about it, she asked “who brought you that?” Omg! You did like 10 sec ago. Never coming back.

Our first sign should have been that the place was empty when nearby restaurants were quite busy. Other than a small party, which left shortly after we arrived, we were the only people in the restaurant. We ordered wings and a small NY-style (thin pizza). It took over 45 minutes for any of the food to arrive (keep in mind the place is empty). We ordered the wings, thinking they were a specialty since they were highlighted in the menu. The wings arrived with the pizza, 45 minutes after ordering. They were cold, dry. It seemed like they were from the freezer to the microwave and late to the table. The pizza was decent so all wasn’t lost. The pizza place is probably a nice mix for the locals; however, if visiting the area there are many better and more unique food choices.

Very nice place to grab lunch or dinner. The wife and I decided to spend a night in Saugatuck. She has her spring break this week so we thought it would be fun to get a night away It's kinda weird being here in early March. Saugatuck is mostly empty now. But it's also kind of cool. Scooters had only 2 tables with other customers and they both left before we did. We got to talk to one of the owners for a bit, which was great. Also the food was really good. I had the Scooters sub and my wife had tomato-Basil soup and mozzarella sticks. Good stuff and a really nice place
