Update: In the months since I initially posted this review, I have noticed a significant increase in the quality of my experience here. Most of my issues have been addressed in some way and I would definitely now say I'd recommend this location to anyone. There's a lot of new staff and they are all pleasant and knowledgeable :)
Past Review: First, I've never been one to go out of my way to write a negative review of any establishment. That being said, I've gone to the this place so many times and had so many underwhelming experiences that it seems they could use a little feedback. This location is the closest to my work, which is why I frequent it regardless of the service. However, almost everytime I go the service is one of two things. One, incredibly slow. I mean it sometimes takes twice as long in the drive through than any other Starbucks I've been to. Two, the employees are generally very not very friendly, professional, or knowledgable about their products and services. Additionally, the drinks I order are often not made the same as at other locations, which to me seems to imply that the employees are not trained very well. For reference, I usually go around noon or around seven in the evening. Even if I would prefer the products at Starbucks sometimes, I often choose to go to the Caribou Coffee near by because of poor experiences. In comparison, I used the frequent the Starbucks in Burnsville, which is a night and day difference. The Burnsville location is always professional, efficient, and friendly. The Savage location is severely lacking in customer service and management in my opinion. I hope this feedback...
Read moreAnytime I come here my drinks are always different than when I order at any other Starbucks. One time I kindly requested if they could remake a drink that was clearly botched, it was basically a cup of heavy cream with a splash of coffee in it. I watched them use the "original" coffee that I gave back to them as the "creamer" for my new coffee and heard the barista say "I just don't want that other drink going to waste" as she stares me down for about three minutes straight instead of simply remaking the drink. I guess I don't mind, it was my own coffee but who's to say they don't reuse cream from other people's coffee in yours? Or the other corners that are being cut...... There's a target across the street that has amazing service at their Starbucks. I know most of the gals by name and vice versa. Walk in, they already know my order and it's half way done by the time I'm even ringing out. Try the target location and see what you think, they are always happy to see...
Read moreThe grilled cheese was fine. The cashier and baristas are friendly and nice, greeted me.
I dined in, not very clean for a pretty slow starbucks around 5pm.
Drink was not good, gave a 3 star for "okay". I will attach a photo. I ordered an iced decaf Americano with salted cream (that is suppose to sit on top of the drink) Like a Caramel Salted Cream Cold Brew, except instead if cold brew, it's an Americano.
What I got, quoting the barista "This is an Americano but the cream that got broken in there."
I was in a good mood so I just left it, but what I got was a watered down Decaf Americano with mixed foam? And then a layer of foam sitting on top. I think I got like 4 little melted ice cubes floating in this almost room temperature drink.
If you're an avid coffee drinker you may not enjoy the quality. But if you're a regular that buys sugary drinks, then I'm...
