Recently, we tried ordering at This specific McDonald's at around 2 AM. You might be wondering why we ordered McDonald's this late. Sometimes you get hungry and you want food. This McDonald's was walking distance from the place that we live at. And we wanted food to keep us going for the tasks that we had to do. We didn't have a car obviously since we walked to the McDonald's. And we didn't know whether we were supposed to use the DoorDash window or the drive through. We walked to the drive through because again. No car, and they basically denied a service without any explanation. It could be debatable and fair as to why they don't accept service with walk-ins through the draft through windows. However, Savannah is a walkable city. And there were other McDonald's around Savannah that had walking drive-throughs. Another reason why we think this was unfair personally was because despite the reviews and concerns about the skeptical people who walk up to the windows, there are genuinely people who find it convenient to walk to order food, especially since Savannah is a walkable city, and not everyone has cars. To note, the inside of the McDonalds wasn't open, which our only option was the drive-through. We found it very disrespectful how they denied us service,...
Read moreIt is with great distress that I write these comments. I entered the building on the evening of a very hot Savannah, GA Friday, with the expectation of a comfortable experience. To my dismay, it was everything but. Hot and wery I went to the counter to order my fish sandwich and $1.00 Coca Cola. The cashier was as friendly as she could muster up up be. With a dull smile she handed me the large cup, in exchange for the bills she so impatiently waited for me to retrieve from my bag. I then proceeded to the restroom, which was locked. Another employee was sitting in wait and kindly said to me, " oh wait, I will buzz you in.i saw you ordering". I then entered but wished I had not. This restroom had tissue on the floor, a roll in the trash can, and no soap. When I came out from the "no" restroom, my order was ready. I walk to the fountain for a drink, then looked for a seat., "OH MY GOD! HOW DID I MISS THIS! There were flies, flies, flies, flies. Live flies, dead flies, still flies, old flies, young flies, get me the hell out of here flies. An employee came out to clean up, ( I thought) but just wiped a few tables as she and another rude employee spoke badly of all customers at the drive thru, and the...

I am here for a dance competition. It was almost midnight before we got back to our room. My dancer is a type 1 diabetic. She was tired and only asked for some chicken McNuggets and a Diet Coke. I went to the restaurant listed below and sat in the drive through line for approximately 10 minutes only to be greeted by an employee that they were only taking mobile orders. When I asked what that was he said you have to download the app. I got out of line only to have no reception to download the app. I called. Friend at the hotel. She placed and paid for the order. I had the order number but then was told they were only taking delivery orders then another employee came behind him and said oh its not ready yet then the 3rd person said the person that placed the order had to come with their phone to get the order. So I drove back to the hotel downloaded the app placed my order and paid for it drove back to the location only to be told they were closed. I said your hours say 3am. He kept repeating were closed. I asked him for his name and he said Jesus and got on the car with his friends. This was how my last night ended in Savannah. This was by far the worst customer...
