Easily my favorite of the Woodfield Mall Dining Pavilion. Fast, delicious, and great value, I enjoy this business. I have never had a bad pizza. If you want more or less of something, be sure to speak up. Watch how the person who is making the pizzas is applying the ingredients and you will understand what I mean. There can be a great variance on amounts, so pay attention. You will be thankful. Similar to Mod Pizza, the only thing missing is the cleanliness of the table area, which seems to be done by one person for a hundred tables. There is no way a person or two can keep this area clean. And to have the same person wiping all these tables and then have to clean the floor, what is going through Woodfield management minds. Being avid table cleaners wherever we go, keep your area clean for others. Woodfield really crapped on their execution of a great concept. Even in the mall, there are hardly anyone cleaning and it is always dirty.
Update: in subsequent visits, I have found too big a variance in quality of preparation and attitude of workers. I also do not care for the policy of having to decide if I want a one or two topping or a build your own. Since you see your choice of toppings as the pizza is prepped, I do not see the upside for the customer to choose beforehand. The employees will say you can choose build your own but if you do not choose more than two toppings they will charge the lower price. Seems this is so if a mistake is made it would be to the company’s benefit. The nonsense of not having a small drink but having a medium and large size is baffling. They do give refills. For those that care, they do not have straws. You can grab one at Chipotle. Still the best value of food at non...
Read moreI was told they do not give refills on drinks because they are not considered a sit-down restaurant there in a mall. I went to Blaze Pizza in Jacksonville Florida which was great service and wonderful Pizza) I would rate it a 5 but the one in Woodfield Mall I would rate a 1 or 2. I know they have only been open since May but they were not consistent with their toppings. The when I went through and ordered my mother's and my pizza they were very skimpy on the toppings. When I went to get a box for the leftover pizza, I waited 10 minutes where the cash register was and they basically ignored me then I went through the line again to ask for a box which at lunch time at Woodfield Mall is very busy. I understand that it is a small area and the person that does the ovens only does the ovens .The two gentlemen in front of me got pizzas got larger amounts of toppings. The pizza was good. But they need to send their workers to Florida so they can see how the Blaze Pizza in Jacksonville is run. I went to both Blaze pizzas during lunch hour at a very busy time and both lines were long and I was very disappointed in the Woodfield Mall...
Read moreTuesday evening I ordered my gluten free pizza on the blaze website and I came to pick it up and the cheese and spinach on the pizza was burned to a crisp! (The pizza had black burned spots everywhere). I spoke to the girl who was working there and I informed her that the pizza was burned and she told me the pizza was not burned because the crust was not burned. Umm what are you serious? Well I then requested twice to have my pizza re made and had the nerve to say that the pizza would come out the same way! Well I have been to this location many times and other locations and i never received my pizza this way. She also informed me that gluten free pizza dough burns easily, well I have gotten many gluten free pizzas in other restaurants and frozen ones at the grocery store and that’s just not true! She was very rude, has a bad attitude and was talking over me. I was so fed up with her rude behavior that I requested a refund (twice) and left. I’m not returning to this location, this employee needs to work on her customer service skills because she...
