Roti Mediterranean Bowls. Salads. Pitas. — Restaurant in Schaumburg Township

Today around 3PM I went to Roti Mediterranean in Schaumburg on Golf road. The lady who served me the food charged me around $12 extra and when I questioned her on that she says that is what it is. I explained her clearly that there might be a mistake on the bill and I come here for last three years, but she is not bother to listen and after few minutes of explanation from me and requesting her to talk to the manager to resolve the issue, she refused to serve me food and thrown the food in the garbage and asking me to leave the place and threatening to call the police if I don't leave. Since there is no issue from me and I am hungry so I refused to leave. Then the other server intervened and she realized the mistake and but still not willing to serve the food and asking me to leave saying I am raising my voice which I didn't. I am just trying to explain the discrepancy in billing. Manager can check the video recording of the conversation. Since I am not willing leave the place even they threatened me that police is on line, the second server served me the food at the end. DO NOT GO HERE. Beware this is the only place I have encountered in suburban Cook that is requiring you to show a vacination card to dine in. DO NOT GO HERE. This location is in Schaumburg not the city of Chicago. I am able to provide my vaccination card just unwilling to, there is no need nor does it make any difference the vaccinated spread the virus even more effectively then the un-vacinated. I am in fact vaccinated but that is my business not yours or anyone else's. Yes you can choose to ask for it as well as I can choose not to ever eat in your establishment again and express my displeasure here. Food is old and reheated not fresh. Roti can be good this location is just poorly managed. Geographical location is good food is not. If you want chicken from a drawer and rice that chips your teeth and pita bread a pigeon won't eat then by all means go to this location. If you want real Mediterranean Schaumburg has lots of better real options. This place is taco bell to Mexican food if you don't know what I mean then eat here you don't know the difference between bad food and real food. Actually taco bell isn't that bad after a few it more like Mc Donald's...

This is a fantastic place! The decor of the place is unassuming yet welcoming. The service was excellent. Not only were they polite, they were quick. I ordered the lamb meatballs and the only I was disappointed about was the portion. I'm a meat eater and the size of the meatballs were quiere small, so I was expecting at least one more. That said, the choice of sides were superb. Each one brought out a distinct flavor that complimented the meatballs perfectly. I was especially happy with the hummus and the pita. Though I did not think it was going to fill me up, I was satisfied after finishing. Really enjoyed the drinks they had available. The best part? It was not expensive at all. For that kind of taste and for such a variety in flavors, I would not have been surprised if I'd been charged more. If you want a quick bite, at a chill place and are seeking to thrill your taste buds, definitely stop by this place.
