Burger King — Restaurant in Schaumburg Township

It had been some time since I have visited a Burger King based off of past experiences. Tonight I visited the Burger King located at the corner of Higgins Rd and Barrington Rd in Hoffman Estates. I ordered the Shroom Swiss Melt, a medium onion rings and a medium coke. Total cost of the meal was $11.48. I was both pleasantly surprised and disappointed at the same time. The surprising portion of this review has to do with overall taste and quality. The shroom swiss melt is a fairly new offering that has two burger patties swiss cheese, mushrooms, and a creamy mushroom sauce on sour dough bread. The flavor combination actually works very well. Both the burger and the onion rings came out piping hot. It was apparent that my items were cooked to order. The disappointment came from the price compared to overall size of the burger. For almost $12 I would expect the burger patties to be equivalent to the size of the whopper patties, not the little hockey puck sized patties they use for the kiddie menu. The food was tasty, but the portion size left me wanting another burger. It didn’t quite fill me up. The staff were friendly and polite. On a scale of 1-5 based on the five star rating system. My score averaged out to be 4.65 out of 5. I get that everything is costing more, but at these prices it would cost a family of four $50 for this meal and they’d still be going home...

Hey burger king.... We order $30 dollars a food, you make us out drive around to order another $12 of food... Ok I understand.

Then I ask you for ranch and buffalo sauce. You hit me with hey .28 cents each. Really? Then you decide to give me one of each. Only for me to have to turn around and come speak with you and your boss.

Loyalty... Is this nonsense worth loss of clients? Don't forget you guys were closed cause no wanted to work for you for weeks. TAKE CARE OF THE PEOPLE THAT MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR THIS BUSINESS TO SURVIVE! It is not that hard. I promise we are not the only locals that feel this business is dropping the ball.

We can only accept the flaws for so long especially after literally everything has doubled in price on you menu. Offer the quality service to offset the price!

Lastly the Steven in your drive through will be the end of this business with his negative attitude. He may require a retrain. Please message me to show me this was important to you. I will remove the review. Until then good luck, we will...

My sister and I had a horrible experience at this BK. They couldn't get our order right no matter what.

The cashier was polite and got our order correct on the receipt, but that was where the accuracy ended.

They brought us two Cherry Icees, and we had ordered Coke Icees. I pointed this out and they fixed it. When our food arrived, I took it to the table. Upon unwrapping the cheeseburger, I discovered it had no cheese.

I went back to the counter and told them, showing my receipt. The guy at the register took my receipt. I waited five minutes at the counter before getting a new cheeseburger. I went back to my table, thinking it'd be right for sure this time. I was too optimistic--it still had no cheese. I was too annoyed to go back up a third time. The burger also wasn't hot and neither were the chicken fries. Usually, they burn the chicken fries at this location.

I won't return to this location anytime soon. The staff doesn't know how to work together as a team and need serious training to get this BK...
