Do you ever drive around with friends or try to figure out where to get dessert? Especially a good bingsoo? Well I do! And unfortunately K Cafe is too far from where I live but anytime I in Schaumburg, I’m making a stop here. It is so hard to find a good bingsoo with the quality shaved snow machine, not gas station shards of ice. This place got it right! Not only do they have the fluffy sweetened snow where the little flakes melt into the shape of the roof of my mouth, they sweeten it well- not too sweet. It also layered well with the strawberries, and quality milk ice cream on the bottom and top! I love when they layer it. The colorful pieces of dduk have a nice chew and the strawberry filling layers tastes homemade and sweet enough to make you keep eating. I would’ve loved some roasted grains powder (misugaru), cornflakes and red bean as an option to add to the strawberry bingsoo, but I didn’t check if they had or could do that. I also LOVED that they had an individual bingsoo option so I could have my own, but I ended up sharing it because it was big enough for 2 peeps. Great bingsoo place and I’m so happy they got it right, like in Korea!
My daughter also got the OG popcorn chicken? and dduk combo with tator tots. She loved it bc she loves both dduk (which was fried, yum!) with seasoned Korean chicken. I actually think frying the dduk enhances the chew and taste so it is a great idea and pairing with the chicken!
Kimchi fries were great and we got it at the end of our meal. I was so full but I couldn’t stop eating it. Crispy, thicker cut French fries with cheese and slightly sour stir fried kimchi tasted great together.
Great snacks that pair well with...
Read moreGreat desserts after any of the meals. Try the matcha ice cream with matcha powder that is not too sweet or bitter. The milk tea blended with tapioca boba is another finisher after going to one of the other restaurants if you didn't eat at K Cafe & Eats or a good choice if you just got off work and need a little pick me up treat after work. Service was fast and the employee loved our business of support. I also did not take a bribe of free ice cream to review this place as I already had ice cream and I am not a fat butt. Plus thinking for anyone reading this, it doesn't say you have to leave a great review but just a review. That means be honest so they can fix anything you don't like that might be a trend in the reviews. I left a review for the K BBQ that I loved everything but the mayonnaise on the bulgogi burger because it kills my enjoyment of the spicy pork and I don't like the type of cheese on the kimchi bulgogi fries as I like plain potatoes with my kimchi and meat. This is in hopes for options to remove them in the order next time because I am very traditional and classic with my Korean cooking and food. So maybe maybe review for here with give some kid a free ice that couldn't get a cone or cup because of their parents. So pass your kindness forward and be honest in your expression of the food or just don't leave a review of all you have is complaining that is not helping to improve the quality. We liked the desserts and the service and not for the hopes of more ice cream but to express what...

If you’re searching for a sandwich that redefines indulgence, look no further than K Cafe’s Glazed Chicken Sandwich. This culinary masterpiece is not just a sandwich; it’s an experience of bold, authentic Korean flavors.
The first bite reveals perfectly glazed chicken—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and generously coated with a sticky-sweet and savory sauce. The glaze strikes an impeccable balance between soy, garlic, and a hint of spice, evoking the signature tang of Korean BBQ.
Accompanying the chicken is a medley of fresh, crisp vegetables, adding a vibrant crunch to each bite. Thinly sliced cucumbers and pickled radishes provide a refreshing contrast, while a layer of gochujang mayo ties everything together with a creamy, spicy kick.
All this is nestled between two pillowy brioche buns, lightly toasted to perfection. The buttery richness of the bun complements the dynamic flavors of the filling, making every bite irresistibly satisfying.
Note: chicken/bun ratio needs more balance. Ended up with leftover bun and no chicken after devouring
And that affogato…the perfect post...
