McDonald's — Restaurant in Schaumburg Township

Would rate it zero stars if I had the option. My boyfriend and I have been here numerous times (this is the closest location to us) at different times of day and different volumes of customers. We both have worked in food and know it can get hectic if there's a lot of orders, but we have not been here one time where our order was not screwed up. Today, my boyfriend was getting his food si he could eat for the first time today after work and ordered the simplest thing here. He ordered a McChicken with extra pickles. We waited about 10 minutes for the food (we had a few other simple things so it was understandable) and finally got our food, only to find out that the McChicken had the label "extra pickles" on it, but when he opened the sandwich it was literally the bun and the chicken. No lettuce, no mayo, let alone no pickles. He brought the sandwich up asking for the correct order with his receipt, the manager took it and said they would replace it, and then we sat there for another 10 minutes waiting for the replacement watching customers who just got there walk in and out with their food. I went up to the counter and asked where his food was, then the manager asked someone to make it and we had the food finally, but alas they forgot the extra pickles AGAIN. 30 minutes for a McChicken. Whenever you go to Macdonald's, make sure you recheck your order, especially drive through. I come to this place pretty often, and almost every time when I got my order, they either missed something or got it wrong. I've ordered the food through the app, but when i got there, they had to make me wait for 15 minutes. Got home and noticed the double cheese burger wasn't quite right, so I called and talked to the manager, not only he accused me of swear at him on the conversation, and also gave the attitude like he didn't care when I had to drive back to the store. Occasionally, you'll see rude people who work in there. But, as a consumer who spends money for you to have a job and doesn't appreciate it and has no respect, I will totally avoid this place. I've also emailed the corporate about this instance, but neither do they care. Things to remember are that when you go to a fast food chain, make sure you'll get everything right for your order and also double-check if you're been charged correctly. Other than that, I expect the employees to be more friendly and respectful to their customers. Otherwise, I will never return to this...

This McDonald's is probably one of the worst to go to, if not at least during night. The staff are slow and take all the time in the world to get your stuff out and they're always messing up orders and then also always end up having no one at the register so then there's a line of people just sitting while there's also a line of people waiting to get their food or their order fixed. The soda machines are never working completely properly (i.e one machine not dispensing ice or not making the soda carbonated, etc). The drive through also gets packed at night and they take literally ages to even take your order. Overall, very poor service, and from what I've experienced it's mostly at night, the day time is okay but I give this place a 1 star bc a restaurant should be working properly at all times. The place has horrible late hour management and could benefit either from a new manager or the current one...
