Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille I began my evening with the tempura-fried lobster tail paired with a luxurious miso butter, a delightful start to the meal. For the main course, I chose their Dinner Cut Pork Chop, a standout dish. This sweet, smoky, and sizzling chop is specially selected from the Midwest for Perry’s. It undergoes a meticulous process of curing, roasting, smoking, and caramelizing, and is served with homemade applesauce. Alongside this, I enjoyed their Corn Brûlée – corn fresh off the cob, mixed with diced jalapeños, baked, and topped with brown sugar, then brûléed to perfection. Although not on the menu, they graciously made fresh-squeezed lemonades for me. The meal was a delightful experience from start to finish. I opted to skip dessert, ending my evening with a signature cappuccino instead. If you find yourself in Schaumburg, Illinois, make sure to visit Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille and ask for Jake to be your server. Highly recommended! In a fun twist, the manager, Ryan, turned out to know my friends Lee and Sabrina from the Berkshires. It’s a small world, and I love these connections in the restaurant industry! And here’s their history… Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille has a rich history that dates back to 1979 when Bob Perry opened Perry’s Butcher Shop in Houston, Texas. Originally a modest meat market, it quickly became a neighborhood staple. In 1986, Bob's son, Chris Perry, suggested adding dining tables to the butcher shop, which proved to be very popular among customers. This success inspired Chris to open the first Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille in 1993. Since then, Perry’s has grown into a premier steakhouse chain known for its unique dining experience, which includes tableside-carved dishes like their Famous Pork Chop, a variety of prime steaks, and handcrafted cocktails. The restaurant now operates 21 steakhouse locations across eight states, in addition to other dining concepts like CARVE American Grille and VERDAD True Modern Mexican. Perry’s Steakhouse is celebrated for its dedication to quality and presentation, which has helped it expand significantly beyond its Houston roots while maintaining the essence of its original butcher shop.

Perry's hosted our private event in the connected rooms. The ambiance of the rooms was great, but we were not fans of the bull image in one of the rooms. It did not go well with the religious occasion that we were hosting. However, it's supposedly the logo of the brand, and it had to stay. Anyway,we were able to decorate the room to somehow distract our guests from the bull on the wall. The communication with the manager was easy, and she always responded in a timely manner. On the day of, we were given a head server to lead service in our room. She was great. However, the kitchen did not bring the bread or the appetizers until over one hour past the party start time. What came as a shock was the fact that the stuffed mushrooms and calamari were not hot. I brought it to Francesca's attention, and she did bring us apperizers that were warmer. Unfortunately, it was almost time for entrées,so most of the appetizers did not get eaten. The entrées were made to order, and they were good. Perry's pork special was a real treat to many. We got two sides served family style, the au gratin potatoes were really tasty, but the charred veggies could have been grilled a little longer. The dessert trio was pretty good. Still, some of the guests ordered coffee and other drinks toward the end of the party, and even though the orders were taken, they never arrived because our party was cut short 15 minutes before the 3-hour time frame that we had in our contract. I did reach out about the issue to the manager, but it looks like after the bill was paid, they were not interested in making things right. All in all, there is room for improvement in the private event department at Perry's Steakhouse. September 2023: Dining at the restaurant was a great experience. The service and the food were both wonderful. The Perry's famous dinner-cut pork and the coffee crusted fillet mignon mediallion are exceptional. The beet salad could use some more flavor.. but it was fresh and vibrant. The kids loved their meals, and the portions were very generous.

Perry’s Steakhouse in Schaumburg delivered an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The service was top-notch throughout the entire meal—attentive, professional, and perfectly paced to enhance the evening. We started with the cold seafood tower, an impressive and delicious appetizer. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and each bite was bursting with flavor, making for a fantastic start to the meal. For the entrée, I opted for the ribeye, and it did not disappoint. Cooked to perfection just as ordered, it was tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The side items were equally outstanding. We indulged in loaded mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, and corn gratin—all rich, satisfying, and expertly prepared. Each side complemented the main course, adding to the overall indulgence of the meal. To finish on a high note, we enjoyed the Banana Foster for dessert, which was simply outstanding. The flavors were decadent yet balanced, providing the perfect ending to a truly remarkable dining experience. Perry’s Steakhouse excels in both cuisine and service, making it an ideal spot for a business dinner or a special occasion. Highly recommended for those seeking a refined and memorable meal.

Great new steak house addition for the Schaumburg area. The restaurant is spacious and the ambience in the restaurant is beautiful too. They have a large bar area with an enclosed patio with fireplaces. Fancy steak house, it can get pricey, but its the perfect place for celebrations and date nights. We ordered the symphony kabob,(comes with steak, shrimp, n small lobster tail), lamb chops, signature asparagus, mashed potatoes and trio of sauces. I would give the service four stars and the food five. I feel like we waited a little longer then normal for our entrées and my steak was overcooked. The server also forgot to bring our mashed potatoes and the trio of sauces. We had to ask for those, but they made it up by bringing me a perfectly cooked steak the second time around. Out of all the sauces their peppercorn sauce is the best and I recommend that one if you prefer a little spice n flavor. The other two sauces didn't have much flavor at all and were boring. When you get your steak cooked correctly it is very tender and the lamb was very juicy. The mashed potatoes were phenomenal as well as the bread and butter brought to table before we ordered. We would definitely come back to try other menu items.

Had the pleasure of having dinner at this classy establishment on the opening night. Due to the pandemic, they had limited seating. As you enter the steakhouse the good vibe starts flowing. Different cuts of meat are beautifully displayed by the entrance, adding to the warm, good vibes of the steakhouse. The highlight was definitely the bar area, which offers high tables and lounge-style sitting. As you walk through the restaurant, you will also notice their exquisite wine cellar. Overall this steak house’s design is elegant and precise. From service to food, everything was on point. The notable wine list is extensive, and the sommelier is knowledgeable. The menu was diverse enough to have non-meat lovers join us and as expected, the dishes were perfectly prepared and presented. If this is your first time, you must order "Perry's Famous Pork Chop" and the “Symphony Kabob”. I had the pleasure of chatting with Perry's Executive Chef, Mathew Mirza, who has an impressive culinary background in this industry. If you are in the Schaumburg area, I highly recommend this place. 02.18.2021 my husband and I visited this institution. The interior is pleasant enough, the staff is polite and helpful. Freshly baked bread and butter were brought before the dishes were served. In principle, the pluses ended there. When we came to this restaurant, we expected, in addition to the cost of dishes, to get gastronomic pleasure, but as it turned out in this restaurant we could not experience it.I ordered "Surf and Turf" pasta , the pasta itself was overcooked (usually pasta is served aldente), the pasta was in the bowl and there were pieces of steak on top, which were inconvenient to cut . I ordered dessert "Mont Blanc a la Frisc", according to the description and beautiful name, my expectations were not met with this cruel reality, the bottom was a regular sponge (you can buy this at any cheap supermarket), it was hard, on top of it was a big ugly piece of vanilla ice cream, the rest of it was white chocolate and one strawberry cut into 4 pieces. all this is sad, really, if you cook dishes you have no quality control and you hope that they will be eaten anyway. My husband took a filet mignon, the top was burnt, he also took a caesar salad and said it was nothing special.
