SCAM BAIT STORE AND HOSTILE CUSTOMER SERVICE

During a holiday stroll i like to visit local shops to see what they offered. i walked into this place a few times before in the past. same results. i wanted to look at there fragrance collections planning on purchasing a new bottle . im very familiar with mid east brands like Lattafa , Armaf , Al Haramain etc. i own quite a few myself as im browsing and smelling the fragrances The man at the counter was very rude as im just trying to figure out what smells good on me. i was with my fiancé at the time and she was doing the same thing. i looked at the honor and glory fragrance , the white and gold bottle. i asked the clerk how much they are charging ?. hes charging 80 bucks for a 34 dollar perfume . i told him its cheaper on amazon. then he also said in a petty tone " so your just going to smell the fragrance that are real and authentic then walk out the store and buy it from a 3rd party ? " " people like you does not want to support our shop thats been in business' for over 20 YEARS?! " I know my facts and i read other reviews on this page , this store never lasted 20 years and they would of if there customer service wasn't hostile. he did offered to match the price of amazon i know hes going to say that 3rd party like amazon hes going to claim its "FAKE" after that conversation went south i kept my mouth shut and continued browsing. he was staring over me like im a crook. i had quite a bit of social anxiety this day. my fiancé noticed me looking scared and anxious . she pulled me over and said i wana check out this other store. i said ok lets go. i sprayed the white bottle on my arm and said i was " going to see the longevity of the fragrance." i told the clerk . and left the store , the owner claims buyers like amazon is fake. but the fact of the matter is they have real and authentic products as long as the brand is the one distributing it , with that being said Im never going near that store...

I would give zero stars to this place. My husband and I walked in to smell a cologne that is ON DISPLAY at a Nordstroms retail location just not the one at Woodfield Mall. We were met by an older man who sized us up and asked us what we were looking for. My husband related he was looking for a few colognes he saw online that he didn’t find at Nordstroms and wanted to look into a few more we previously viewed but was currently not at this location. We wanted to test and smell the products and immediately the old man became defensive pointing at a bottle my husband was interested in claiming it’s a $600 bottle and he does not allow testing because it’s too expensive. He continued with stating that too many people go in to “test” and don’t buy and he is able to differentiate which customers will buy product and who will not. I’m assuming through his eyes we were the “people” that were not going to purchase. Which wasn’t the case at all. He continued to state that we should go to Neiman Marcus or the Nordstroms just across from his shop to “test” colognes and mocked the situation by stating “oh but you won’t find these only I HAVE THEM” which is false a few that we were looking for are carried at Nordstroms just not the woodfield location something I stated to him. He continued to talk about him being able to figure who was truly a buyer and who wasn’t making the encounter extremely uncomfortable. He then stated to my husband “if you want to test it you’d have to buy it that’s how you’ll be able to smell the product.” I don’t know of anyone in this world that would ever buy something without testing it especially at the outrages prices he has them at. I don’t need to relay our statuses but nothing there would have been out of our price range. It’s the lack of customer service and poor judgement that turned us away from this messy place. I’ll stick to bigger brand stores where my money is better spent and I know all products...

If I could only give a half star I would but I can't. This place is HORRIBLE! At first the girl that was helping me was really nice and actually provided some pretty close recommendations for what I was looking for, however I was about to buy a bottle of perfume and my instincts were telling me to check online first and let me tell you I'm so glad I did!! The same perfume I was looking to purchase from them was $50 CHEAPER on Amazon direct from the perfume brands Amazon store front. I mentioned this and asked if they price match and another girl who I didn't notice chimed in and said no we don't so I mentioned the price difference from Amazon and she said well we know that ours are authentic and with buying online it's probably fake. I proceeded to try and mention it's from the brands store front and she said then go buy the fake one from Amazon. I'm sorry but how does a business operate like this and remain open? I ended up walking out as she was still making remarks about buying fakes off Amazon. I went home and researched the perfume that I was looking at and every where else it was the same price as listed on Amazon so these people are really marking up the prices. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if they were the ones selling fakes. This place needs to be shut down immediately. I definitely will be trying to get in contact with the owner or whoever to...
