As someone who is typically a picky client when it comes to dining out, I must say that Zbanok truly amazed me with their exceptional food, warm service, and inviting atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The cozy ambiance, friendly smiles, and tantalizing smells wafting from the kitchen set the stage for a truly unforgettable meal. The borsch was so flavorful and rich, filled with tender beef and hearty veggies that warmed me from the inside out. And the dumplings? Oh, they were a dream! Each bite of the soft dough filled with savory goodness was like a taste of Ukrainian heaven. And the portions at Zbanok are decent size! I thought I had a big appetite, but I couldn't finish all the delicious food on my plate. Luckily, the friendly staff offered to pack up the leftovers so I could enjoy them at home. It was the perfect solution! Taking away the extra food was such a great idea because it meant I could enjoy those amazing flavors again later. Zbanok not only serves up incredible Ukrainian cuisine but also ensures that you get your money's worth with their generous portions. If you're looking for a restaurant that serves up authentic Ukrainian dishes with a side of hospitality and generosity, Zbanok is the place to be. I'm already counting down the days until I can go back and indulge in another satisfying meal at this hidden gem of...

The food was reasonably tasty but fall short on quantity. Definitely pricey for the small serving size. The big turn off is the check where the suggested minimum tip was 20%. Isn’t that a bit presumptuous to expect this much? I usually tip more but always tip short of the minimum just because of this entitled expectation. Not recommend if you are familiar with Baltic cuisine. Pricey compared to other alternatives in the Chicagoland area. Be sure to come with a full stomach or risk...
