The service was excellent. Quite friendly. The food came in an appropriate length of time. Slower than fast food, but they cook it when you order it, so extra time is expected.
I got the number two, which is two tenders. It came with a scoop of potato salad and a small handful of fries, which I felt could have been larger. Potatoes are cheap. Load it up to the point we can't eat them all.
I ordered the tenders with "mild" flavor. I'm a sissy when it comes to spice, and these tenders made this grown man want to cry they were so hot. I can only imagine what the actual hot flavors taste like. Lord have mercy.
The potato salad was unremarkable. It was neither fantastic, nor terrible. An appropriate quality as well as quantity.
The tender sauce it comes with is also unremarkable. It's not Raising Canes quality, but it was adequate for these tenders, which were large, tender and quite favorable to the pallet.
The price was fair, as today's food market goes, though marks off for using one of those card readers that fills you with guilt by asking for a tip, when the only service provided was when the guy took the order and handed me the receipt. He was great, but to ask for a tip in that situation is not appropriate.
The atmosphere is fine. A rather plain open room, with a few tables along the wall. A couple tvs adorn the walls, with one playing a basketball game, and one showing something in Spanish. A radio played as well, making the tvs inaudible.
All in all, it's a decent place. I'd definitely stop in again for lunch, though it probably won't be tomorrow, as the happy workers behind the counter suggested when they jokingly told everyone "see you tomorrow" as each walked out the door. A nice touch, which leaves you with a smile as you leave, woth a fully belly(Though a bit empty of fries).
Next time, I'll go with the "naked" variety though. It's an hour later, and I'm still feeling the burn.
Well done...

My first time here - do not confuse this with Nashville Hot Chicken, as it's not the traditional flavor profile. It's good, but honestly the chicken tenders from Cane's are better!!!
The 2 tender meal comes with fries (which rival Portillo's), a sauce they call 24K (a little bite to it), potato salad, the 2 tenders and you pick the heat...I chose "hot", and they are served on a thick slice of buttered Texas Toast (with a pickle on top of each tender).
The issue I have is the to go order...since I got mine to go...the potato salad is thrown in the styrofoam container alongside the toast and fries - plus the potato salad was now warm. It may have tasted much better chilled and separated from everything else.
The garlic toast could have been placed on top, but it wasn't so it was soggy and covered in potato salad. The tenders were okay - slightly on the small size for what I was paying ($12.99) for this combo meal.
The drink was extra by the way - but I think it's only 99 cents. They have Pepsi products (and only Diet Pepsi) - no one carries the zero sugar soda anywhere??
The "Hot" level made me sweat a bit - and I can usually handle some hot stuff. But the real Nashville Hot Chicken isn't like this...so I don't think you should compare. Think of this as chicken tenders in various degrees of heat. And the chicken wasn't covered in a sauce or anything - it's like the breading contained the heat.
I also tried the fried green beans. They are $6.99 and you get a TON of these. They were also okay. After eating a couple, I lost interest in them - nothing really WOWed me with these. I think they could have been thinner or crispier. There was a thick breading on them...which made them just flavorless.
Service was fine and the restaurant itself is smaller; I also couldn't figure out how to order online to pick-up. You have to call at this...
Read moreMy husband and myself stopped by to curb our appetite of wanting Nashville Hot Chicken. Cashier was very friendly,, however upon paying for our meal when prompted for a credit card tip, I was instructed by cashier to not leave a tip because the staff does not get them!!! That's crazy! We spent over $50 to feed 2 people! I had the donut chicken sandwich(mild)with man and cheese and a strawberry watermelon drink. My husband had the chicken sandwich(medium) with fried and potato salad with lemonade. We also got an ordee of friend Green beans. Donut sandwich was extremely spicy for a mild but it was barnacle, mac and cheese was flavorless and very runny. Green beans were your standard frozen sku from a food proveyor, nothing special. My husband sandwich was just ok as the shake on the sandwich was literally and not very flavorful as mine. Potato salad was boring and plain, no flavor. The drinks were odd and left a weird residue on your tongue like a heavy flavor syrup. The restroom was dirty and doubled as an utility closet, open paint can in a cardboard box, mop bucket with dirty water, and an easy accessible unlocked breaker box!!! The alternate bathroom for handicap accessible was blocked and not easy to get to unless you are able to move a dolly and other things. Over all the crispness of the chicken is the only way this review...
