Update as of August 18th 2022.:
This wonderful restaurant is finally back on track to the fullest, to 5 star rating!! Wonderful dinner tonight! We are very happy!
Pizza Capriciosa, Lasagne, Stuffed and rolled eggplant, Spumoni bomb dessert, Tiramisu, Chocolate cannoli. Complete perfection! ✨✨✨
Try Giuseppe's food and enjoy real Italian, real Mediterranean flavors, the way they do it in their birthplace - Italy, Europe! Amazing!
Many thanks Giuseppe's!

I am degrading my five star rating to 3!! I had unacceptable experience tonight, with lukewarm- almost cold soup, lasagna , garlic bread.. which altogether ruined otherwise solid food. That's not acceptable for such highly marked restaurant and pricey food! Period!
Not to. mention it is not, to say at least, good etiquette to serve someone cold soup(which was meant to be served hot) even if you didn't take money for it and give it out of charity to a person.. But then again especially if it was paid for and not cheap!
Soup was also very watery by the way.
Then a person who was on the phone left me speechless with her hurrying to who. knows where.. instead of listening carefully to my objections, which I gave in order for the restaurant to repair their online ordering menu problem. She did not understand my intentions and answered only part of my problem.
Then asked me about what kind of Gelato i wanted.., but when I. asked what tastes did they have, as usual with these people she had to leave me waiting on the phone for fifth time to probably ask around (!!!) . which is so frequent in Giuseppe's restaurant practice, that it became customary rudeness there.
So...
How come you ask me something, that you yourself are not knowledgeable about, as you should be in every moment, cause it is your job to be in the know, your business, not mine?!
So..ordering with this people, this place, Is getting to be more. and more tiresome experience, which it mustn't be!!
That's why we the guests pay YOU GOOD MONEY so that we could be relaxed, not to cook or warm up your restaurant's (paid for) food ourselves!! In case you people forgot why we give you our monies .
I feel like I pay you, to do your job instead of you .
Now, if it was not outrageous, it would have been ridiculous!!
For more than a year since I became regular here (pick up customer ) I left them a lot of money for excellent food! They became one of my favorite restaurants, certainly in top 3... and I receive this!?. Pretty odd service..getting worse every time.. well, now it must be fifth time in a row!
All of this and more, is the reason I'm revising (which I delayed for couple of months now)this restaurant's rating from 5 to 3 stars Update 6/7/2019 :Same female person was again disrespectful, hurrying me and had unpleasant tone of voice saying SHE had guests in the restaurant as if I called to chit chat, abd actually she called me to ask about which Gelato I wanted! !! OMG! Unheard of! I reminded her I am a guest too!!THIS IS UNEXCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR!! Other staff members made sure I was treated as guest should be, and corrected matters. I would be very sad if this behavior continued, resulting with me not coming back.
August 2019. :
Giuseppe's is improving their customer skills in some aspects, so I'll be adding one star back. Hope they will continue their positive track, to their guests satisfaction
Another thing that should be done is improving their online ordering site, because some items cannot be ordered online like extra bread and spumoni chocolate "bomb", probably something else too. For now, a person can order bread online - through catering menu only, but that moves order 2 days later, which can pass unnoticed and it almost happened to me, but the restaurant called me and verified and corrected the matter....
Read moreI really wanted to like this place but was sadly disappointed. The decor and Ambiance is a very intimate and appropriate for the expected experience. Service was slow which can be expected from a small operation that hand makes everything but the food quality did not indicate that that was the case. The calamari was pre-coated and rubbery in felt like it was take me out of a box or freezer pack in deep fried. The linguine with white clam sauce lacked anybody or flavor. A little bit of butter, cream, or white wine may have added some desperately-needed flavor. It literally tasted like boiled pasta with a can of clams dumped in at the last second. The pizza was also greatly lacking. The neapolitan pizza should have had a little bit of char on the crest giving it a nice Smoky flavor but sadly the crust was burnt to a crisp with a bitter Char flavor. The pizza also lacked sufficient toppings. All you're left with was crust that was highly inedible. The Chicago-style pizza was slightly better but still lacking for a supposed Italian joint. If there is a bit of Saving Grace at might come in the way of the stuffed Manicotti which did have decent flavor. The marinara sauce did have good body and flavor. Another odd ball is the $2.50 for a Coke can. I realize most people probably drink wine when they come to this type of establishment but I think it's absolutely ridiculous to charge people $2.50 for a can of Coke. When my wife asked if it was $2.50 for each can that they bring out the waitress felt bad for how long we were waiting and just told her that she would just bring her another can. But I feel that they would have charged additional for an additional can. The charge people $2.50 for a can is ridiculous. I would understand a dollar but you get $60 out of a 24 pack is robbery. Just an overall disappointing experience for a place that had so much promise and was...
Read moreThis place use to be a good place to go and eat, food was excellent, as well as to order out, but the last couple of months it has been on the decline. We had had order food couple of weeks ago and it wasn't that good, so we thought maybe they had a new cook, we ate what we could and threw the rest away. My son and his wife also order food and had the same experience and thought there was a new cook. We decide to give it another try hoping things had gone back to the way they were. I had ordered Chicken Francese which is suppose to have a creamy lemon sauce. We get the food home and there is no sauce on the penne pasta, I call to complain because we have made enough concessions and though enough was enough. the girl told me i had to send them a picture of the food. I said "WHAT" you think I'm lying to you. They come back to the phone after much back and forth and tell me that I am going to have to bring the food back to them if i want a replacement! This is a place that we were going to on a weekly bases! I bring the food back and some short Italian woman brings me the new food and says, "we will give you the food but there was sauce on it" I said there was not, so she is going to argue with me and she proceeds to go get the food that I had just returned. At that point I had had enough. This is a place, that I have told so many people about, because we had been there so many times and the food was good. And now I have some little Italian women telling me that I was wrong and there was sauce on the pasta, when clearly there was not. We spent $70 for take out. When we go inside we spend between $150-$250 depending if the kids are with us. Not any more! I have no idea what has happen to this place but I will no longer recommend it nor will we go there. It is an absolute shame we try and support local businesses, not this...
