Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Schererville

First time eating here. The people seemed very nice My wife and I ordered the parmesan crusted chicken. I got the mac and cheese and she got the Ceasars salad. The pasta was very dry and lacked flavor. The chicken was good. I saw others complain about the lack of sauce and flavor and I find their opinions were spot on. I paid almost $35.00 for our lunch. The Wisconsin mac and cheese was very cheesy put lack flavor. I don't understand why restaurant are afraid of seasoning their food. We were disappointed but will give it another try. It's would have been nice to see them have parmesan cheese in packets since they have pastas on the menu. I also would like to see the cashier wear gloves while handling the money. He took and handled money and then grabbed our cups and lids without even thinking. We went in the back at the pop machine and washed everything before filling our cups. The flavors are nothing special. They taste as you would expect. The portioning was too small to satisfy my hunger (to gauge, a whopper with a medium fry and drink usually fills me up) and the pricetag is too high to justify the portioning. They use paper straws here which forced me to take the lid off of my cup, which was also small for a "medium" beverage because, I don't like paper straws for a few reasons.

I rated this place 2 stars, one for friendliness and one for cleanliness. The staff here are respectful and courteous. The dining room is seemingly sanitary. I’ve never actually been to the restaurant but I did order food from them with Uber. I ordered the pad Thai with chicken and shrimp. Charged 5.00 for the chicken and not a single piece in the meal however there was enough egg for breakfast for two ppl so maybe they thought good enough. The 5.00 shrimp was two shrimp (yes i counted) the size of a nickel . The side Caesar salad is about one leaf worth of lettuce, half a teaspoon of parmesan cheese and three croutons. The dressing was tasty. They forgot my extra sauce which I paid for also. Can’t get a refund with Uber so enjoy the extra money you don’t deserve.
