Terrible experience, careless manager, bad customer service! I purchased a top to wear for a trip out of town. The night before my flight I was packing and realized the ink tag was still on, which was frustrating on its own. I understand that mistakes happen so I did not bring the top with me on the trip and waited until I found a babysitter to make my way out to have the ink tag removed. I arrived on Saturday, November 27 on a 20° night. I found a sign on the door saying "temporary closed," see photo. The lights were on inside and I saw group of about six people casually chatting away and I was still well within store hours so I didn't know what was going on. I knocked on the glass and after 5 minutes the general manager begrudgingly made her way over to me and finally opened the door. I asked why the store was closed and she said she couldn't tell me. I gave her my top to have the ink tag removed and she took it begrudgingly and made her way back and had me stand outside for an additional 10 minutes rather than letting me wait inside when people were still in there and walking out. I was beyond frustrated and I asked her why I couldn't at least wait inside. She was so rude and unapologetic. An elderly lady approached the door to go inside and she was so confused by the sign, I told her that she should call the store headquarters and complain for inconveniencing customers. They had me standing outside in the cold with no explanation for a mistake that they made. I tried using the "contact the president" option on the website and it was useless, the phone number on the website went nowhere. I felt ignored and will never shop in these...
Read moreLove, love, love this store♡ The staff is helpful and happy to be there. Clothes are pricey everywhere if you want anything with quality. But here you can pay for attractive, nice fitting clothes for someone who.is challenged when shopping by their body habitus. I am 5"1' and bounce between a size 16 and 18, which is a 0 or a 1 at Torrid. I have bought supportive, comfortable and sexy bras which are usually scarce for my size(40 DDD). Plenty of women wear leggings religiously, my daughter inclded. She prefers to pay the price for leggings @Torrid because they last longer. It is key to look for stronger material that will not wear through after a month when a woman whose thighs rub, nor are see-through. Thank you Jesus! There are attractive prints and patterns, soft materials and jeans that are short enough for me without cuffing them or wearing heels (and I am told"make my a** look amazing)! For these reasons, I will continue to provide my patronage, especially when they send me awesome rewards in my emails to help me to contribute to the sales that keep...
Read moreHeads up: masks are not required in this state, but there is a sign on the door that states - “no mask, no service”. Good luck if you have an autistic child with you - no service, good like if you or your child has asthma - no service, good luck if you or your child has any other respiratory issues that would not affect the general public, but would greatly affect you if you had to wear a mask and breathe in your own CO2 - no service. I’m not sure if this is a manager’s mandate or corporate, but either way, someone needs to look beyond the TV and do some solid research on this - both the virus itself and the effectiveness of masks (look up how they helped or didn’t help with the outbreak of the Spanish flu. Also, be sure to do a little more research on immunology in general and know the difference between a virus and a disease. Not to mention, the survival rate for this virus. Nobody wants anybody to die - but try controlling death. You can’t. We take precautions where we can, but at some point, you still have to live life). Come on folks - you’re...
