DONT ORDER FOOD FROM HERE! I bought two things and it made me so sick for the rest of the night I hadn’t eaten since breakfast and about an hour after eating this mediocre food (it looked and tasted like small chicken nuggets just covered in a whatever sauce u order literally nothing special) I found myself throwing up. I had been working at a restaurant all day and I just wanted some good take out definitely didn’t find it here I called to get a refund because I refuse to pay for food that kept me up a majority of the night and the man who answered the phone was beyonddddd unprofessional When I calmly just told him that it made my stomach hurt real bad and he continued to talk over me saying it’s never happened before and they how they cook their chicken and pretty coming up with limitless excuses as to why it’s not there fault I would say maybe a sentence and he’d continue to talk over me called me a scammer and said he’d refuse to give me a refund and hung up on me when I interrupted his tantrum to tell him that I was still talking and voicing my concerns he said he didn’t need to be spoken to This way when he really did a majority of the talking 🙄 so I called back and he proceeded to ask me for all my card information the security code and expiration date which was pretty fishy if u ask me I’ve witnessed my managers give refunds and usually u just need a name and the last 4 of a card number he told me he’d look for it maybe find it by Wednesday and we’ll see what he can do SO UNPROFESSIONAL I sincerely doubt he’ll refund me for the food that made me violently throw up but the least I can do is warn others of this nightmare of a restaurant 😅 DONT EAT HERE and if u want proof of their attitude check the responses they post of people who leave bad reviews absolutely 0 responsibility taken so sad might be a good place if it wasn’t ran by such a sad pathetic excuse of a man who has no problem...
Read moreFrom the moment my wife and I stepped into China Basil Thai and Chinese Kitchen, we knew we were in for a unique treat. The ambiance of the restaurant, especially the serene patio where we were seated, welcomed us with a quiet charm. Tucked away in the shade, the patio offered a cool, comfortable spot to enjoy our meal, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience.
Our culinary journey began with the Crab Angels, an appetizer that set a high bar for the rest of the meal. The delicate flavors and perfectly crispy exterior hinted at the kitchen’s attention to detail and commitment to quality—a heavenly start that promised more delights to come.
Next, we savored the Pork Fried Rice, a symphony of flavors and textures in every bite. The savory pork, tender rice, and fresh vegetables were balanced perfectly, showcasing the care and perfection in every ingredient choice and preparation.
The Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai then transported us straight to the streets of Thailand. The generous portions of chicken and shrimp nestled among perfectly cooked noodles, all bathed in a harmonious blend of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors, made for an unforgettable dish.
Finally, the General Tso’s Chicken was a standout, with its tender, juicy chicken enveloped in a perfectly balanced sweet and spicy sauce. This dish kept us coming back for more until not a single bite remained.
Our dining experience at China Basil Thai and Chinese Kitchen, particularly on the shaded patio, was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was a testament to the best of Thai and Chinese cuisine, and the serene outdoor setting made our meal even more memorable. We left with full stomachs, warm hearts, and a promise to ourselves to return soon. For anyone seeking authentic Asian flavors with the option of delightful patio dining, China Basil Thai and Chinese Kitchen is the...
Read moreI ordered pad ga prow and thai basil fried rice and felt that this is a very americanized version of Thai food. The rice in both the dishes was overcooked and perhaps not the best quality. Only low quality sticky rice cooks into a mush instead of cooking nicely into sticky rice form. Also rice cooked in oven instead of rice cooker or pots with water can leave some texture of the rice. Anyway, the fried rice had burnt bits of overcooked eggs and chicken. So basically the proteins tasted overcooked. The carrots were out of shape and hence had an almost burnt texture too. Basil leaves were not picked well so were in big chunks. Felt like a cow with a mouthful of greens. And I think it was Italian basil and not Thai basil or ga prow basil or maybe not infused well in the dish. The overcooked rice also made the whole dish taste a little off. The chicken pad ga prow also had very chewy chicken breast pieces. The chicken had excess salt in it whereas the sauce was sweet. And I had ordered for thai style hotness. But got a sweet dish. Barely had any hint of garlic in it. Would suggest addition of mushrooms to evaluate the dish and give the dish a nice balance of flavours. Again the rice in the combo was overcooked. So it made the whole dish taste worst. Did not find a single bamboo shoot in the dish though the description mentions it. And again the same problem with the picking of basil leaves was felt. Attaching close up photos...
