On the Rocks — Restaurant in Scottsdale

I've been in On The Rocks several times. My latest trip to Scottsdale was in April/May 2022. This time around I had the pleasure of talking soccer with Ashlea who, it turns out, is a Liverpool fan. I'm a Manchester United supporter and asked if we could have the match on. Of course Ashlea said yes. She finished her shift at midday and came around the bar to watch it with me. I also met Wendy, the owner, and we had a great chat about her journey from having a farm destroyed by fire to owning a dive bar in Arizona. Great people, great company and good beer. If I could give it negative stars I would. I didn't make it few steps in the bar before the bartender (who claimed to be the owner) behind the bar rudely yelled at me about not wearing a mask. I explained my medical condition and he said you don't have a medical condition. Show me your papers.

As a Veteran that served my country for 11 years I have never been questioned about my medical condition so rudely in my life. The funny part about this is 90% of people did not have masks on in the Bar. It's sad that an establishment like this would treat anyone this way. The guy behind the bar (the supposed owner) should get a little bit of education on how to treat customers and needs to look into the disability laws of what he can and cant ask for. One of the best bars I have ever been to it made me feel back home in Milwaukee Wisconsin I hung around there for five or so years it was people like Dennis the owner and the bartenders like Shelly purple Chuck and others which I forgot their names made me feel part of a family and all the others past and present so I like to say thank you to all and the reason I do not go there anymore I live now in Sun City and Uber would...
