Visited this Bright small cafe today. It’s great that there are alternative non dairy milks like macadamia , oat etc (which is the norm in most cafes nowadays). It would be nice if they carried soy. 1 star removed, because there are virtually no vegan syrups so it’s nearly impossible to try any of their flavored drinks which sound enticing. Additionally, the barista was nice but had zero knowledge about whether the syrups or pastries were vegan. I did a quick search on the syrup Monin they carry. On Monin’s website it states that Monin Sugar Free Syrups and Monin Organic Syrups (excluding Honey Organic Sweetener) are vegan. Unfortunately Light Heart carries the non vegan syrups and the only vegan 1 is the vegan vanilla sugar free syrup. It would be nice if they carried the organic syrups and then everything would be vegan (and it’s best practice to support organic). The matcha was pretty good. For vegans, this cafe is not your best option as choices are so limited. On another note, 15 minutes before they closed, the barista informed me the garbage was already removed from the restroom and to hand my trash to her. This is a...
Read moreI workout across the street and am always looking for cute coffee shops to go to after and this cute hole in the wall exceeded my expectations. The line was out the door, which tells you immediately that you are about to have the best coffee ever. I am so happy I waited. I went in today around 8:50am and Maddy was the only barista. She carried herself so well and was very quick to hand out orders. She was smiling from ear to ear and was making the best out of the situation. I was able to talk to her for some time while she made all 4 of my orders and you could tell she truly had a passion for coffee AND people. Im not only giving 5 stars because the coffee was amazing, but also because Maddy made the experience better! Highly recommend checking this...
Read moreClean light atmosphere. Friendly service and a knowledgeable barista.
I tried a shot regular espresso and a shot of their decaf.
Their espresso comes with a free Topo Chico which is a really nice touch.
The regular espresso was on the fruity side but still robust and quit enjoyable. It paired well with the Topo Chico. Their regular espresso stood on its own with no sugar.
The decaf was a sugar cane wash. It’s also a lighter roast and more fruity. I found the decaf needed a little sugar to really bring out it best qualities. With about half a pack of raw cane sugar this decaf had notes caramel and vanilla.
Overall this place was a great experience that...
