Horrible customer service for ice cold food. Used the drive thru to get a couple of tacos and after I made the 2 minute drive home the tacos were refrigerated cold. Tried calling the restaurant and only got a busy signal. Got the same busy signal on all 7 calls placed to the restaurant so I drove back there only to be told there's nothing they could do. Yes there is.. make me 2 new tacos. That's all I wanted. But they gave me back my frozen tacos telling me I was in the drive through at 8:40 I didn't get my food until well after 8:45 I made a text while waiting in the drive thru and that's how I time stamped it. Drove 2 minutes home sorry I had to take my medication before I eat so that was another 2 minutes plus the walk from my parking spot to my house. I would have been there to complain about the frozen food but I tried calling 7 times prior to tell them about the cold food but like I mentioned before there was only a busy signal. So now I waisted gas driving there Grant it it's not far but it's still an inconvenience only to be told to pound sand because they served me ice cold tacos. I go here frequently and I've NEVER had cold tacos why was today different and the fact that they said I took too much time before coming back was the rudest thing I've ever experienced especially because they flat out lied about when i got my food. I guess I shouldn't have tried calling them multiple times to avoid what just happened. Won't be a problem again since they lost a frequent customer. I bet filibertos would have given me new warm tacos instead of insulting me and handing me my cold food back. Even if it had been a while the food should not have been as cold as it was. Read moreUnfortunately I would like to recommend Oscar’s Taco Shop more since their food is decent but I have consistently had poor experiences when visiting the restaurant. Starting with the drive thru, it has been extremely difficult to order food whether it’s due to the order taker being unable to hear or not understanding, I’m not sure why but it’s exhausting trying to order anything! Next is the issue of the posted price on the menu and windows for daily specials. They prices they charge are different (they’re charging more) than the prices that are posted. They don’t give a total until the window so the food is already being prepared and if you decide you don’t want the food due to the prices being more than what’s posted, then that food goes to waste. Thirdly, the service is extremely slow, expect to spend 5-10mins sitting in the drive waiting for your food or the next car to move up. Lastly, when asking to speak to a manager, they don’t have a manager who is bilingual or speaks English so any English speaking customers who don’t speak Spanish and need help resolving an issue cannot get help. In my particular case, I came on a Wednesday when the special is $5 burritos, I ordered 2 so I was expecting to pay $10 but I was charged $6 for burritos totaling $12 which isn’t what is posted on their menu or the windows. They didn’t want to refund the $2 or make things right in anyway. They could have given me my drink for free drink as a resolution but they didn’t even want to do that. I asked for No Pork - Then Wrote “Sin Jamón”, tengo allergias. Instead of HAM they put Sausage which was Pork and I was made sick the second I bit into my burrito.
I had an almost immediate response and called them fast! I asked them what they put into my food and if they put PORK, they said No, we put sausage- Umm turns out the sausage I asked for them to remove was PORK.
They told me I could have my burrito free or ask for another item as they wanted to apologize.
The moment I attempted to order a different burrito to ensure there wouldn’t be pork, the Man Cashier was rude and said “Na bro, you got a breakfast burrito and that’s all I’ll replace it with the same one.”
Like SERIOUSLY? I could’ve died and my family would’ve been suing for wrongful death and this is the response?
We used to order there daily.. we noticed the food isn’t god any more and the cooks are different, you can tell when they change as the quality drops and goes out the window..
I am very disappointed and Sadly this was a favorite.. they began messing up my orders weeks ago and then BAM, tried to kill me and gave me an attitude when trying to place an order a week later when feeling better.
I could’ve asked for a complete refund that day, instead I remained disappointed but understood small business could struggle if I demanded my money back.. next time sadly I will have to demand a refund and then follow...
