We eat at RamenHood often. It was very hard to rate this restaurant. Obviously we like the food or we wouldn't keep coming back. Everything tastes great and is fresh from our experience.

Here are my complaints:

  1. Cost. (Particularly with takeout..see #2). I wouldn't particularly complain about cost because when you dine in it ends up being 2 (or 3 small) meals for us, which makes it very affordable. But the seasoned boiled eggs (which are really good) cost an additional $2.00 and it isn't for seasoned boiled "eggs,"...It is only for ONE EGG! They have it twice on the toppings screen...so if you order it twice (purposely or accidentally) you pay $4.00 for 2 hard boiled eggs! Also the pork amount is way less than the chicken. I understand that pork may generally be more expensive (?), but there is way less. It would also be nice if you could get a combo of proteins...smaller amount of different ones.
  2. Takeout portions. You spend the same, but get probably about half of the amount of servings of broth, noodles, protein, and toppings. They need to get bigger serving containers for the broth and the toppings. If the amount of food is so much less, they should charge it that way. What we should do if we eat out is order it for dining in the restaurant and then bring in our...

My daughter and I recently had the pleasure of ordering takeout from Ramenhood, and it's safe to say that our culinary ramen adventure was nothing short of delightful. The restaurant offers many ramen options, catering to different palates and dietary preferences, including vegetarian and vegan choices.

The star of our meal was undoubtedly the ramen.

We ordered the Tonkotsu and Spicy Miso ramen, and both dishes exceeded our expectations. The tonkatsu ramen had a rich, creamy broth that was well-balanced with tender, melt-in-your-mouth pork slices. In contrast, the Spicy Miso ramen offered a pleasant heat that invigorated our taste buds without being overwhelmingly spicy. The noodles in both dishes were cooked to perfection, providing the ideal balance between firmness and softness. One of the most memorable aspects of our experience was the presentation of our to-go order. Even though we couldn't dine in, Ramenhood went the extra mile to ensure our food was carefully packaged, with the broth and noodles separated to maintain the dish's integrity. This attention to detail was much appreciated and truly elevated our at-home dining experience. We highly recommend it to anyone craving a satisfying...

Platinum Award Winner 4.2 of of 5 Stars!!!

Taste:

Based our opinion on the ‘best’ ramen we have ever enjoyed we give Ramen Hood a 4. The the best best but very very close. Presentation is top notch as well.

Portions:

By far hands down drop the mic leave the arena grabbing their cahones wonderful. THE BEST PORTIONS OF ANYBODY!!! 5!

Price:

At the price of 1 hour of work at minimum of $15 all in this price can’t be beat. We have been to other places that charge you a la carte for basics like carrots while Robin Hood is a clear winner with the all included model. We give them a 5.

Decor:

Ramen Hood is your traditional sit down boutique restaurant. There is a clever Anime style Robin Hood moral on the wall but outside of that the basic bowls and utensils add to the experience. 3.

Service:

This is a self service experience where you order from an android then real humans prepare your order. The only interaction with the real humans is at payment and meal delivery. However, this process is seamless and caters the overall quality in speed. 7 mins or less...

I was in the area for a business meeting and when I finished a customer/friend suggested trying this place. Since the temperature outside was 110° outside my mind works odd at times and I thought okay let's go have some noodles and hot broth. Lol. I guess several other people had the idea to have ramen noodles and broth also. I ordered the noodles with teriyaki chicken Ginger and onions can't remember which one was pickled. Also got some cilantro. This broth head several layers of flavor. I highly suggest adding many extras in that broth. The teriyaki chicken was good too but I ate all that and scraped up all that broth. Since I didn't want to get too hot I just blew on the spoon to cool it and it cool down pretty quick. Oh yeah and I definitely recommend the soft boiled egg that had some nice flavor to it. My friend ordered an appetizer for us can't remember the name it was a dumpling it was very good. When you walk in the door there's two tablets to order your meal. The atmosphere was average but it was okay The food was awesome.

Recently came across Ramenhood and decided to give it a try for lunch. Like a more traditional ramen shop in Japan, you place your order and pay upfront. The menu was pretty simply with either 2 ready made options and 1 build it yourself option. For those of you like myself, I typically skip on the soft boiled egg since I like mine well cooked, fortunately it is an extra add on so made it easy to skip. As usual I decided to try their tonkotsu or equivalent to compared with other places. My order came pretty quick and was pleased to see that it was served in a large bowl and lots of noodles and toppings. One difference I found was that instead of the usual roasted pork loin for the chashu, they used thin slices of roasted pork belly which was fine. The broth was a little bland and had a much like buttery mouth feel compared to other tonkotsu ramens I eat regularly, but overall it was good and the volume of ingredients made up for the short coming especially for the price point.
