came here for the first time last weekend and I ordered an iced macchiato with caramel and vanilla bean. It was 10/10 so good. Came back yesterday through the drive-thru and had such a strange experience. I ordered through the speaker and repeated a couple times since the person taking my order was having a hard time hearing (totally fine) but when I got to the window the girl there was asking me if I ordered the right thing explaining a macchiato was really small. I said yes and said it’s exactly how I ordered the last time and it was perfect. She comes back with a hot drink and I said I’m so sorry but I asked for iced. One of the employees behind her whips her head around and looks me in the eyes visibly angry (dark hair, big lashes, big lips) She had a headset on so I assume maybe she either took my order or made the drink but she looked back and forth between the other girl and me a few times giving me an irritated look. The other girl comes back with the device to pay and I hold out my phone for her to scan their app. She takes my phone from me and walks away out of my sight. That is so weird and feels like a total invasion of privacy. I guess not her fault if they don’t have a way to scan at the window but don’t offer a rewards app if it’s a huge inconvenience to use it maybe? She comes back with my phone after a couple minutes and the drink is absolutely not a macchiato it’s basically milk and didn’t taste any of the vanilla bean like I could the first time. So probably won’t be returning here since it’s super inconsistent and customer service isn’t great. Not expecting Dutch bros personalities from everyone but getting stared at with dirty looks is...
Read moreI was super excited that this place was opening so close to my house. After reading the other reviews I thought about just extend some grace and give it a shot anyways since just opened. I order one blended coffee and a sandwich, the lady had hard time to understand my order through the speaker but she was polite and finally got it, once at the window and no one behind me, I asked her to be sure if ice blended coffee was like Frappuccino and she answered yes it’s like Frappuccino. When she gave me my drink it was like ice coffee and no whipped cream. So I ask her again to be sure I order correct because Frappuccinos are creamy almost like milkshake and she said that this is how their ice blended are and told me to give it a try to see if I liked the taste. I did and the drink barely had ice in it and tasted blah. I told her I didn’t like so she called someone that I believe it was the manager and she told me this is the closest our ice blended are to a Frappuccino. I’ve obviously drank from Starbucks and Black Rock before and is nothing like that. They should not name that drink ice blended or say is like Frappuccino because it’s not, more like ice coffee poorly made. Before all that, I even left a good tip to encourage the workers but what a huge disappointment. I do not recommend this coffee place and I will certainly not be back. The sandwich was ok but I wouldn’t go back for it. The girl that got my order was confused but polite and tried her best,...
Read moreGot a latte in my lap and gave management a week to make it right. They did not even try.
Went through the drive-thru at Better Buzz for two hot lattes. First one, no problem. Second one spilled everywhere—in my lap and all over my car interior—right as I grabbed it. The barista at the window looked shocked, and I immediately told her it was probably my fault, since I’d nudged the lid.
Her response? “That might’ve been one we had trouble getting the lid on.” Then she asked if I wanted another—but I was already late picking up my spouse and didn’t have time to wait.
Tried calling them later for a refund. No answer. Left messages. No call back. Eventually called the main office and left an irate voicemail just to get any kind of response.
When I found ten minutes to return in person, I talked to the manager and the same barista. They were polite—but again, no real offer of help. No refund on the spot, no offer to clean my car or my clothes. Just vague assurances they’d “figure it out.”
It’s been over a week. Still no call from the district manager like they said there would be. No follow-up. Nothing.
Better Buzz, your customer service is a joke. If your store can’t answer a phone, stand by your product, or show a shred of urgency when you burn someone and trash their interior, then what is the buzz about? It can’t be your coffee—you dumped enough of it on me to...
