Phenomenal Experience â 100/10!
My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time, and I have to sayâIâm very picky, but everything we tried was absolutely astounding! We ordered two ramens: the Tonkotsu and the Spicy Seafood, along with two appetizersâChicken Karaage and Fried Squid. Every dish was bursting with flavor, especially the ramen, which was rich, creamy, and generously portioned. We left feeling perfectly fullâsatisfied and relaxed, not overly stuffed or uncomfortable.
Our server, Newton, made the experience even better. He was funny, kind, attentive, and quick. Our drinks were always full, and he regularly checked in with us. He even played along with my husbandâs and my silliness, making us feel completely at ease. Newton was also super helpful and knowledgeable, especially when we had a few questions about the menu.
This restaurant is phenomenalâweâre already planning to come back often. Newton definitely deserves a raise, and the restaurant deserves all the praise. Overall: 100/10. Highly...
Read moreWe went for a relaxing lunch as first timers. The guy host was a nice guy and friendly. He took our order and didnât get it correct. They brought us the wrong Ramen bowl. We did not know so we started eating it, and then he realized it was the wrong bowl and he literally took it out of my hand, took the spoon out of my hand as I was drinking the soup. He took it back to the kitchen. You never take food away from someone who is eating it even if itâs the wrong bowl. Instead of taking the bowl and throwing it away you should offer the customer to keep it or maybe even let them keep it a discount. Youou never take the food away from someoneâs mouth. We asked for no onion and the food had onion garnish. To top it off they never brought out the Gyoza. Not a good impression but the taste was on point from what we did taste. Attention to small details is...
Read more12 years in Japan and 2 years in Korea. I might not be a ramen expert, but I've definitely had my share of late night/early morning ramen. Shio Ramen does not disappoint. I tried both the Shio Ramen and the Tonkotsu Ramen. I've always been a fan of the more "kotteri" soups and the Tonkastu broth is as good as any I had in Japan. The noodles were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of "tooth feel" (al dente). I added an egg and garlic chips (like savory garlic candy!) with kimchee on the side. I didn't think I could eat so much, but I just couldn't stop. So delicious. ă¨ăŚăçžĺłăăă§ăă I'll definitely be back with my wife, a noodle fanatic. Highly recommended if you like...
