One of the best combos is definitely a coffee shop with a playground - and the Phoenix area has several options. Some of these are shaded too, which is great for these warmer days. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review. The Café at Scottsdale Bible The Café is hands-down our favorite spot to stop before Sunday service. It’s always such a peaceful and beautiful environment, clean, welcoming, and full of charm. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or sitting down for a meal, it’s a consistently great experience. The food is fantastic. The pastries are fresh and delicious, and the flatbreads and salads are equally amazing. My husband swears by the quiche, and the egg bites are always a hit with our whole family. Coffee lovers will be thrilled with the full espresso bar, everything is made perfectly and tastes incredible. One of the biggest perks? The prices. It’s affordable, which is such a rare find these days. You can enjoy a high-quality meal or drink without breaking the bank. Even if you don’t attend Scottsdale Bible, The Café is a hidden gem worth visiting. It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot that’s perfect for catching up on remote work, reading, or just relaxing. And don’t miss the attached gift shop, it has a lovely selection of gifts and home goods that are truly unique. During the hot summer months, the outdoor misters make it comfortable to enjoy your food or coffee outside, which is a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend stopping by, this place is truly a blessing in more ways than one!

Scottsdale Bible Church, located at Shea and 76th Street, is a large beautiful campus with a great cafe! Park and then follow the palm tree lined walkway to the cute cafe. It's a roomy space offering quick service breakfast and lunch. (Online, I see that they have a cafe at their Fountain Hills and North Ridge locations as well, but the menus are limited and only open on Sunday mornings.) My breakfast sandwich was yummy! It was ham, egg, cheese, and chipotle sauce on a brioche bun. I had an infused red bull, but they have a full coffee bar. They also offer salads, sandwiches, flatbreads, and kid's small plates. There are plenty of tables inside and out. The cafe is also a bookstore with plenty of faith-based reading. I don't know what it looks like the rest of the year but there are beautiful displays of holiday items to shop lining the cafe. I've said it before, but churches have great cafes. Added bonus: there are always some great discussions going on around you
