If you've ever been to Whataburger, this is just like every other Whataburger you've ever been to. Food's good, services decent, and you get what you pay for. However, I only gripe with any Whataburger, and it is all of them not just this location, is they are very very dated. Whataburgers look like '80s and '90s have thrown up inside and it's never been changed. Every Whataburger I've gone through since growing up through the '80s and '90s 2000s 2010s and now 2020s even the new locations, all look the exact same. They got golden oak trim everywhere, hard plastic booths that are extremely uncomfortable to sit in, and just peach pastel wallpaper and a floor that looks like when they put it in it was nice and clean, but now is so gross it's off-putting. I just wish Whataburger would take pride and update their stores for the next 50 years.
Also I know that they don't make your food until you order it, so it takes a long time. But it would be nice to be acknowledged at the drive-thru that it's being worked on. Because I'll go up to the window and ask for just a single potato egg and cheese taquito and a medium fry, and sit there with no acknowledgment or even anybody coming to the window for up to 18 minutes. And then they just take your card run it talk to the food and shut the window before you can even ask for condiments. This last time I asked for four picante sauces and one ketchup, and she accidentally dropped six picante sauces on the drive-thru ground and then got another six in her hand full and put them in my bag and even though I asked for one ketchup, she did the same thing with the ketchup giving me 12 of those plastic cases of ketchup. I bet Whataburger if they fix that each location and started feeling out just one or two per order and not giving entire handfuls of every order probably save a lot of money over the course of all the locations over a year. Just don't be a stingy as McDonald's and other places that I hate going to and only go to if I really have no other option where if you ask for ketchup they give you one packet only for a large fry or charge you for a package. Read moreI really hope that someone from Whataburger actually sees this review and chooses to do something about this. One time I was there really early in the morning and I didn't have anywhere to be, so waiting for over an hour and playful banter to give the staff a hard time about doing better is one thing, but it's a pretty consistent issue at this location. 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and I was shocked that I was in and out quickly tonight with a 15 minute wait for Curbside.
The staff there is really bad about acknowledging the counter, upset customers generally get there before I ever see any staff put any pickup orders on the pickup shelf. One of the guys from my team at work was joking with another customer about "at least I have my boss with me, so he won't say anything about me taking an hour lunch because of a 45 minute wait for food". The lady that he was joking with didn't find it funny. I guess she isn't as lucky about who she works for and the length of her lunch breaks.
It'd be really nice if if someone from Whataburger would address the issue.
On a side note... the food quality is generally pretty decent here. I don't know if the Whatawings always taste so substandard, but both flavors wreaked and fell apart. I don't think I'll chance ordering them again here or at any other Whataburger location just in case.

If you go inside and you're sitting waiting for your food you'll see that the place is not very sanitary, the workers look miserable, and the managers are very snappy and cranky.there's a general manager named Sarah that works here and she's smiles to your face but very very nasty behind your back. The customer service is not consistent. Customer retention low. I will never go back to this Whataburger or any Whataburger's associated with this one. Larain is the area manager and she could care less about the service that you receive and retaining you as a customer. You'll get one free Whataburger without cheese. If you want cheese you have to pay extra for it. I'm telling you if they're trying to make up for something they did that was wrong, you treat the customer well. So I boycott Whataburger and I think that everybody else should too. There's a 24-hour McDonald's, there's a 24-hour Mexican food, this place just doesn't hold up its quality of service and taste in food. If they mess up once, when you go there to try and correct it they're going to mess up again, you go there to try to correct that one they mess up again and it's just a continuation of horrible customer care.
