STOP what you’re doing and put this place on your list. seriously, it’s THAT good. Not only was the food absolutely phenomenal, but the customer service was hands-down the BEST I’ve experienced at any sushi restaurant. From the moment we sat down, the staff made us feel welcome, taken care of, and treated us like VIPs. Friendly, fast, and always checking in with a smile. they truly went above and beyond.

Now let’s talk about the food… WOW. Every single bite was unforgettable. The sashimi was out of this world. fresh, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, beautifully displayed on ice with citrus and flowers like a work of art. The nigiri was perfect: generous cuts of fish over perfectly seasoned rice. The rolls? Absolutely insane. The crispy rice with spicy tuna had the perfect crunch, drizzled with creamy sauce, and the flavor combo was unreal. Every plate looked stunning and tasted even better.

The appetizers and sides were just as amazing light, crispy tempura, fresh seaweed salad, warm miso soup, and beautifully plated extras that showed just how much care goes into everything here. Nothing felt rushed or basic; every dish had that extra touch that makes you go “wow.”

A Hidden Gem for Authentic Japanese Food in Scottsdale!

I finally got to try this small, cozy Japanese restaurant in the Mercado complex after hearing my friends rave about it for a while—and now I totally get the hype! The place has such a warm and elegant atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal.

The lunch deal is seriously unbeatable—$14 gets you miso soup, an 8-piece sushi roll, chicken with rice and curry, and a fresh salad. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and way more filling than I expected. The sushi was perfectly rolled and fresh, and the curry had that rich, comforting flavor that makes you want to keep coming back.

Beyond the food, the service was amazing—everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and you really feel that classic Japanese hospitality. I honestly regret not coming here sooner! If you’re in Scottsdale and love Japanese food, this spot is a must-try. Definitely adding it to my regular lunch...

I came after a long day of errands. I was craving shrimp fried rice but I'm pretty picky so I looked at the reviews online and pictures to make sure that there was veggie and fried egg. I was satisfied with the reviews and the pictures I saw so I decided to come in and I was surprised that I had come in at a happy hour time so I was able to try their spicy fried tuna and that was delicious. That was my favorite thing that I ate even though I did also get a plate of shrimp fried rice. The shrimp fried rice was good. It was a tad bit salty for my taste and a bit bland but it was cooked well and I really enjoyed it and the shrimps were delicious. You can't go wrong with hot sake so I got that as well to finish everything off. I wasn't overwhelmed but I wasn't underwhelmed at all either. Id like to try their sushi and sashimi another time. I'll definitely be back...
