Atmosphere: Cool place!
Service: Like Chipotle -- pick your carbs, then veggies, then proteins. We have visited a few times now and everyone seems really friendly, helpful, and patient so far.
Food: So very flavourful. We've tried all the vegan options except for the coconut and spicy rices and we love them all. We get the F'n A and my favorite combo is currently the green rice & citrus quinoa, basil mushrooms & lemon basil green beans (or maple glazed sweet potatoes), and the sesame marinated tofu & chickpea salad, all topped with kalelujah (sauce).
One thing I really love about the sauces (aside from their names) is they are never added directly to the food. The sauces are pretty potent and everyone's palette is different -- I can use a lot of the kalelujah but I have to be careful with the buff-avo (spicy), so the sauces being kept separate keeps me from ruining...
Read moreIn modest walls where warmth resides, Where every smile and plate aligns, There lives a place both calm and bold— A quiet gem: dear Fork N Bowl.
The scent of herbs, the sizzle low, A rhythm only passion knows; Each meal a craft, not made but meant, With every spice and moment spent.
No velvet rope nor marble floor, But heart that hums behind the door; Where service flows with gentle grace, And kindness fills the dining space.

So raise your forks, your hearts, your eyes, To humble art that satisfies; For love like this—authentic, whole— Is plated proud at...

Really wanted to like this place more as the service was A+. The food is super fresh and well flavoured. They have clearly put a lot of thought and love into the vibe of the restaurant.
However, the portion size is laughable. I got about two tablespoons of rice for real. 3 out of 5 options for protein cost more. The poke is an extra $2.99 and half of it was cucumber. All the toppings also cost more. It's super overpriced for what it is. I would rather the bowls be $14-15 and just give a bit more and don't charge extra. I understand food costs are high but this was a bit of a joke. Rice isn't that expensive....
I wish them luck as...
