Following a haircut and beard trim I decided it was time to try one of the local places! I had heard great things about Seaside Social House, which was a big green flag for me since they were a new business! Having recently moved down to the area it was only right to support local business!
Upon entering the restaurant you are met with an upscale but warm and welcoming comfortable environment! The pizza bar to is your right! I decided to have a seat at the bar! I was immediately greeted with a handshake and a smile from the Dustin the bartender! Big plus for customer service! Being a new local to the area i asked what the specialty cocktail they were known for was, the bartender immediately grabbed a cocktail menu and began pointing a few favorites!
Eventually I decided on the Seaside Spritz which is a refreshing cocktail consisting of Aperol, Avissi prosecco, Q Tropican ginger beer. It came in a wine glass and when i say this drink was immediately refreshing I mean it! It’s the perfect balance of alcohol to mixers leaving you with a pleasant taste in your mouth that would make you feel like you’re on a tropical island in the Caribbean!
Now onto the food having only a limited time I decided the best option for me would be the smash burger! It was presented on a wooden paddle with a good portion of fries! With my first bite I was sent into a world of different and incredible flavors the 6 oz grass fed patty is melted in your mouth and was a perfect complement to the drink I had ordered! The burger was perfectly seasoned and cooked! I would have added photos but it was gone before I could!
I highly recommend this to anyone who is either a local or visiting for vacation in the warmer months! This restaurant understands customer service and customer satisfaction! You will be highly pleased when you come here and I for-see this business being a huge addition to Seaside both off season and in season!
I will happily return and give them my business! I found it to be affordable compared to other businesses...
Read moreServes at night was a bit rude. My husband only wanted 1 cube, and the girls didn't like that for some reason. We went back today and got 2 pies because we have different tastes. We sat at the bar coconut mojito was not that good. The pizza took over 40 mins to get, and we had to walk to the pizza area to grab it. The dough has to be pre-made. The cheese didn't even stick to dough. No flavor for a buffalo chicken. My husband got the ricotta one with hot honey and pepperoni. All I tasted was the honey. Pepperoni was not authentic it was those small roni's. Pictures will show you. Pictures say it all.
Your bartender forgot then told us because of a party being there. Plenty of others got their food. This did not taste anything near high quality. Pizza on the boardwalk was better.... yes it was pizza fest but at the time we came there wasnt many people when we ordered. Yes a party up stairs but not to have to wait that long then be forgotten. The dough took over any taste that wasnt on the pizza. Buffalo pizza has buffalo flavor this did not you can see only the fake tasting chicken squares had some...
Read moreI have only been here two times and I really love it. When I left today which was right after the Saint Paddy‘s day, I wanted to order some pizza to go. I went up to the bar near the door to leave. I didn’t notice at the time, but the owner looked at me and looked away, and I kept trying to catch his eye, and he kept looking away. So one of his staff said to me that’s the owner and you’re at the wrong window. So I walked down to the other end of the bar where takeout is and I don’t think it’s marked as takeout but even if it is, is there any harm in letting somebody know to go to the other window. So I told the owner this very nicely and he said no no everybody that was there and by the way there was nobody at the bar to order. And. I totally pretty much understand where he’s coming from. But you know how that made me feel it made me feel that since I am a 65-year-old woman no one in that place cares about me. They looked at me so many times and looked away and I guess I don’t understand it because they’re all going to be my age at one point so I told him he was rude and I left, but I did...
