If I could rate 0 stars I would. When we walked in place smelled strongly of mold(I had an asthma attack within first few minutes). I lysoled the AC, cleaned the filter(caked in dirt). The bathroom had mildew and caked dirt all over the baseboards. I had to use my own disinfectant to get rid of the dried urine off of the base of the toilet(and in back of the toilet). There were ants running along the back of the toilet along baseboard. I used two washcloths of theirs to clean the place and they were filthy by the time I was done. For $180/night this is a fleabag motel at premium prices. Save yourself the hassle and go to the Hershey or Surfside for a cleaner experience. This place is a health hazard and should be shut down

I’ve been coming to seaside heights with my friend every summer for 5 years now and we won’t stay anywhere else. The staff is extremely friendly and they even remembered us at check in this year! It’s always clean, AC units work great and it is an amazing location from the beach for the price! Definitely recommended staying here for a little getaway trip to the beach

Very very small and noisy, you can hear people from outside and through the walls, so i wouldn't bring kids here, theres hardly any room for clothes. It's cheap though and only a block from the beach. Parking passes and beach passes included which is nice. Water is hot, clean room, beds are decent but not the best. Management is great.

I stayed at the Franklin Terrace Motel for my school's prom weekend with my girlfriend. Having looked at previous reviews, both my girlfriend and I were concerned about what we had gotten ourselves into. However, I have found that none of the reviews that I have read gave an accurate description of the motel, so I would like to do so.

LOCATION In terms of relation to the beach, the location could not be any better. The boardwalk is a minute walk from the hotel and it is not too far from Casino Peir, the local amusement park. Everything on the boardwalk is within walking distance from the hotel and it's not too far from the nightlife, but just far enough to not hear blasting music all night. Despite this great location, the street that the motel is on itself is a bit more sketchy than the surrounding streets. There are a few open lots and run-down looking houses on the street and not many street lights, making my girlfriend and me a bit uneasy walking home at night. Overall, I was satisfied with the location once I got used to that uneasy feeling.

ROOM The walk into the motel is also a bit sketchy, as there's not many lights. The room itself is alright. The floors are a little dirty, but not too bad. The beds have sheets that have a few stains in them, but we had no issues with bedbugs as I have read in previous reviews. The bathroom looks a little dirty and was tiny, but there were no problems with mold. Also, I would suggest bringing your own toiletries and towels. The furniture and appliances look to be fine, we used the microwave and refrigerator and had no issues. There's a nice flat-screen TV and a cable box that are fully functional. The air conditioning works very well. terms of looks, it's the room isn't great, as there are holes in the cloth curtains, but the rest of the room looks fine. The room itself smelled of the spices that you'll smell when you go into the front officen, that I assume is from the owners, when we first got there, so if you dislike that smell, I suggest bringing febreeze. Overall, the room has an air of not being clean, however, we had no issues.

MANAGEMENT The management seemed to be very nice. There were a couple ridiculous requirements for the deposit on the room that can be negotiated down. For example, we were first told that we need to bring $400 cash for the deposit, but after discussing this, we got it down to $150. Overall, they never got in our way or restricted us from anything. They gave us free beach passes (just don't lose them,) and seemed very inviting, at least the ones we saw.

Overall, our stay at the motel was just average. Taking into account the location, room, and management, I would say I'm satisfied with staying here. Had the street and room not been as sketchy seeming, I would be very satisfied, as in reality, they...

I had 2 night stay with this place and let me start by saying this place is terrible! Small room, Small bathroom, dirty stained sheets. Ants all over the place. Very rude staff! Old man had a attitude fo everything. They called the cops on people get them kicked out no refund or anything. Would rent that same room a hour later without refurbishing it. They charge 15 dollars for extra people. At that when have you heard of a motel where you are not allowed to have guests! Ive been to many motels in seaside and this is the first time where i was not allowed to have any guests and there reasons were ridiculous "oh because its a liabilty they need to have a room with us" bs they are just greedy cheap rude people and scam artists. I tried to leave after 12 hours and refused go credit me back any money. WORST motel expierence i ever had! These people shouldnt be like that and should be considerate of people spending their money there and should provide good customer care 117 a night for nothing place should be 49.99 a night and thats just being nice considering how run down the place and with the worst most rude and disrespectful cheap staff they have! How do you catch an attitude for asking for toilet paper. Small parking lot this was bad for a 2 star hotel more like a 0.5 star hotel! Only good thing about it was being half a block away from the boardwalk and club. I ended up losing my money and went to the Glendale across the street. Very sad place please improve the facility and improve on your bad staff you shouldn't be making a persons stay horrible at a bad motel where they decide to spend their money to vacation or have a good weekend with your mean rude staff. Its despicable and horrible of you people to make a persons stay there a horrible and uncomfortable experience. Fix your bathrooms toilets, sink, and shower my bathroom ended up being flood all this within 12 hours of staying there. They need to shut you...

The staff was VERY VERY friendly. They even helped us with the bags to our room. The room we rented which was room 14 had 3 beds had ceramic tile flooring which I like better then rug. The room and beds were clean with NO bed bugs. I am very picky with motels but I have to say this one did the job. It didn't have a dresser but it did have a rack to hang clothes on hangers(I just left my clothes in the luggage, no big deal). It also has a small fridge and microwave with a counter and sink that accommodated 2 electric burners.it was half a block from the MIDDLE of the border walk which was great because I DIDNT HAVE TO DRIVE ANYWHERE. the dance clubs were walking distance. it has a very small sink with no counter space in the bathroom and a stand up shower but I was happy that it was very CLEAN. The toilet was super clean with no stains. The parking lot is small but they give you a permit to park on the street if there are no more spots which is right in front of the motel. There is a small pool towards the back of the building if you want to grill or just relax.(pool size is probably 15x 8) they also provided me with some beach passes. I definitely would recommend this motel. its a 2 star hotel but feels like a 4 star due to how clean and friendly they are. I definitely...
