Certified Dutchaholic, for more than a decade, here ... um, I've experienced Dutch from oregon to Wichita kansas. I've even been to this stand previously with ZERO complaint. Training and proper supervision is missing this time. I'm sad to say that many of the recent reviews posted are accurate. Huge lines blocking the street at both windows. Each car ordering multiple drinks with that kind of volume is hard. Were was the staff? Only one person making drinks for both windows? No one taking orders except at the window? No runner? No pleasantries from the staff at all. Just took our order, took our money, turned away from us completely and just stood there until our drinks were done.
As a customer service manager with over 35 years of experience, you need new people for the before 2pm crew. Slow is fine with the huge demand, but not enough staff to respond to the demand, terrible work ethic for a service job, and that staff certainly didn't have the Dutch way either. It's a good thing I don't live in Seaside or I'd be forced to get coffee anywhere else but here.

Haven't had much of Dutch coffee, but I've heard Dutch is well known for their friendly service, and was looking to try the new drink. The employees here were amazing. They let me order (which I really appreciated as while I would have understood if they hadn't I walked from the hotel) and were super friendly even as I immediately forgot my order and had to fumble awkwardly with the app I'm still getting used to in order to even remember it LOL
The individual that took my order at the window was helpful by kindly explaining the drink to me so I could be sure I'd asked for the version of the flavor I wanted to try (which was especially nice as in my fumbling I'd initially clicked something else) and it was overall a really positive welcoming experience! Chatting with the staff about concerts and artists and recommendations of where to skate in the area as they prepared my drink was a really fun way to start my day and I appreciate the whole crew for all their help and...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. I go to Dutch Brothers everyday. An ICED Double Rainbro Lemonade Sugar Free on the Flavors is not a complicated drink. Yet the girl working this 4pm shift decided to question if it was a “special drink, blended drinks cannot be sugar free.” We persuade to repeat the drink. Even though the drink was clear when ordered. If she would’ve not seemed so bothered from the beginning maybe she would’ve heard better. Finally gets it right when charging us. Then persuades to whisper something to her co worker and look over at my family and I. Just to hand us the WRONG drink. I had enough so I did say “is that why the worker walked away cause she knew she messed it up?” & was told to “be nice.” How about learning how to be a better worker? I will be skipping this Dutch brothers. Poor customer service...
