Found a pair of timberland boots in my size, and while they fit perfectly, they were the only pair that had scuffs and damage to the outside of the shoe, and the only pair in that size. I’ve been looking at these shoes online for a while, but it was pouring down rain yesterday & these boots are waterproof, so I was much more inclined to buy in person. When I went to the front to ask if they had another pair in that size in the back, or if it was possible to discount the damaged pair a little, the cashier literally interrupted me mid sentence to ask “so were you up here to make a purchase or did you need me to get someone else to help you?” Umm, I’d like to make a purchase but need some info first?? (only saw 2 people working, both were on cashier, and there was only 1 person behind me in line so what’s the rush)? So I repeated my question, was interrupted mid sentence AGAIN to be told there was another one in that size and if I had looked already - yes I looked already. Her coworker recommended she check in back, she did, and was unable to find another in that size. I finally was able to ask if it was possible to discount the damaged/scuffed up shoes without being interrupted or walked away from, and the cashiers response was that they don’t discount shoes and I should go up a size instead, which was baffling to me. Who is going to pay $130 for a pair of shoes that are too big??? Especially when the shoes sell brand new for $140 online with free shipping? You’re literally a discount shoe store offering “buy one get one 50% off” but you can’t give any discount on a damaged pair of shoes? All in all just poor customer service in a store that wasn’t very busy selling barely under market shoes. Really surprised at the whole interaction and amount of attitude. Read moreThe employees here are extremely rude! I bought a pair of shoes I took them home and put them on. I walked around my living room for about 10 minutes and realized they don’t work for me. I took them in to return them and the employee accused me of wearing them outside of the house which I did not do. There was some dust on the bottom of the shoes and some sand because we live at the beach. Things were going fine and she was going to return the shoes for me. She then mumbled under her breath but you obviously wore them outside. To me that is accusing me of being a liar and completely unacceptable the employee had a bad attitude from the get-go! I put in a complaint corporate and I will not be shopping there until she does not work...
