I watched "Left Behind: Rise of the Antichrist" on Saturday 1-28-2023. The Cinema didn't Display a Notice for this movie on their outside bulletin board, Nor any posters Inside building to let people in Seaside Oregon know the movie was playing here??? I was charged $11.25 to watch this good Christian movie. Because it's a premiere (As the counter clerk told me). Yet all other movie tickets are only $9.00 for adults??? This movie is very low budget, so a $11.25 ticket seems to have a prejudice behind it. The Cinema knows it's a low budget movie, yet they still charge so much per ticket. That doesn't seem to make sense to me???
Also, if this Cinema says they charge this high price because they already know there won't be a lot of people coming to watch this movie because it's Christian, then why don't they at least post advertisements on their bulletin board, and inside building lobby, and on their website. (I saw nothing advertised about this movie their at all).
I tried contacting the Cinema office but nobody responded by phone š± answer!
It honestly seems that Seaside Cinema has prejudice against Christianity!!! Yet America was founded by our forefathers who many believed in Jesus Christ! He is the true Son of God. And our Savior! This hometown cinema should be better willing to promote the best movies, even if they're low budget!
Thankfully, a young man named Joshua (I think?) gave me a refill of soda š„¤ pop for free! At first he told me soda refills are only fur large drinks. But after I asked if he would make an exception because I paid $11.25 for a low budget movie, he immediately gave me a free refill...He was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to see a movie in a small coastal town theater. I did not expect fancy but I was shocked by the level of disrepair and filth that I experienced. I have seen many gas station restrooms that were WAY more clean than this cinema bathroom. It was DISGUSTING! It was apparent that there was a lack of care here. Both upon entering and exciting my film, the staff were watching videos on their phones and made no attempt to even make eye contact with patrons let alone provide customer service. I stood at the counter top purchase my ticket and despite my efforts to attract attention from the staff member, I actually had to verbally request assistance (because he was watching his phone). The theater itself had broken armrests to the chairs. It was dark throughout the whole place, dingy, and smelled funny. Just felt yucky! I will say the ticket was pretty cheap and I did see a movie, so there's that. Easy to find with good parking. A few games in the back area of the lobby. This place could use some DEEP cleaning and some general effort in upkeep! Check out the photos. Please clean this and I would consider coming...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis theater has a long history in our community. What once used to be the 'CANNES THEATRE' is now the Coming Attractions Theater and with our community it has grown. Unfortunately in the past, many people avoided the Seaside Cinema or made the trip into the Astoria Cinema since the building was worn/well loved. I am guilty of this myself to some degree, I must admit.
Newly remodeled, the theater is amazing inside/outside. The building outside is beautiful and eye catching, while the inside is cozy and fresh. You can really see the effort the company has put into the establishment and it is clear that the staff take pride in their work and their work place. The theater is kept clean and the staff are friendly. It is also exciting that the theater now offers more food choices than popcorn and candy for those who have a bigger appetite.
As someone who is very familiar with Seaside Cinema and it's history, I am thrilled to see these renovations. I know more people will also share their appreciation of this Cinema's 360 and will look forward to enjoying movies for...
