Seaside Bridge — Local services in Seaside

I’m forming Barbie’s Beach Home to care for abused/survivors women and children. (My 4th 501(c)3) and I love to do all things “beach”: crab, fish, harvest razor clams and manage all things in the real estate industry.

This bridge has sadly become a place of stealing, (I’ve had 3 pots stolen) pulling other people’s pots illegally (I’ve witnessed homeless and others pulling pots late at night/early in the morning) and just a very sad state of affairs. This use to be a joyful, fun place to do some recreational crabbing and fishing.

My pots are marked with buoys marked with BBH. Hopefully crabbing and fishing can return to the “community of honesty” for sport instead of a den of thieves. Take care and God...

Used to be a great place to go fishing and crabbing. Now your lucky if you can find a place to drop a pot in. People leave their crab pots and don't bother checking them all day. I was there recently and counted 67 crab trap ropes. I was there fishing and crabbing for 8 and a half hours. I saw 3 people check a total of 7 crab traps the entire time. It was a minus tide when I was there and I could see the pots and traps. A bunch had been in so long they had barnacles growing on them. A bunch more had no bait...
