Made dinner reservations for a birthday on a Friday night. Our first visit to this establishment. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated at our table. The decor was a pleasant German theme, with flowers, pictures with about eight tables. The owner welcomed us and proceeded to give us the menu and informed us of the dinner specials. I oreded my favorite, Jaeger Schnitzel with a hofbrau beer. My meal was served in about ten minutes. I found the plate presentation colorful with the add multi colored "salad " that was red and white cabbage and shredded carrots. The Jaeger Schnitzel was cooked just right covered in a mushroom grave. The home fried potatoes were crisp just the way I like them. I order the black forest cake for dessert. The cake had cherries in it over a dark chocolate base layer. The frosting was like a lite wiped cream that wasn't overly sweet. As a birthday bonus, I was given an apple schnapps in a tall stem shot glass. The schnapps was very fruity and sweet. Overall I would rate the German restaurant highly based on food quality, presentation, atmosphere and very pleasant staff. I will be back to try the rouladen.

This continues to be our favorite restaurant in the area. It’s a small, family run restaurant and Claudia and Irvin put so much love into every detail. The food is always amazing, and even during COVID times, they give you an authentic German atmosphere, from the music, to the Bavarian decor, to serving your drinks in the perfect glass to match your beverage. They import a lot of their products directly from Germany (beer, cheese, etc), so don’t expect cheap prices, but the quality and quantity of food you get is just outstanding. I miss the inside atmosphere, but they are being very safety and health conscience during these trying times, and accommodate their customers with outdoor tents, spaced out tables, and space heaters. This is the ONLY restaurant we continue to eat out at because we trust the staff and they always make us feel like family. The Rindsroulade is my favorite, but I always ask for sauerkraut and their home style potatoes as my sides. Go eat here, but make a reservation! You won’t be disappointed.

Also posted on Yelp: Authentic German food owned by an Austrian family. Food was delicious, portions are large. The menu items are in German with a little English description. We got: Gulaschsuppe (goulash) - hearty soup, chunks of meat and veggies. Stammtischschnitzel - breaded and fried pork chop with mushroom topping. I think this could have benefitted from a sauce but maybe that's not authentic. Schweinebraten - very tender pork chop with a bread dumpling (remember when you used to mash white bread into a ball before eating? This is a large delicious version) and cooked kraut. Malzbier - malt beer, non-alcoholic. Tasted like liquid raisins to me but my date didn't think so. It was good.

Too bad the service was so bad because the food was great. The food reminded us of when we lived in Germany, but the waiters were too busy to give prompt service. The primary waiteress could not be bothered to look at the ingredients of the bread to see if it had any egg in it (which our son is severerly allergic to), but she did go get the bag to the bread and drop it on our table and curtley state that she was too busy to look at it to see if their product would put my son in the hospital. Our kids were well behaved, several customers complemented their behavior and demeanor, but we got the impression that the establishment could not wait to have us leave, especially after the primary waiter snatched the utinsils out of my 1 year olds hands without a word and walked away, because she was playing with them (very odd). Overall I thought the food was good (but expensive) and if they didnt want kids they should not have a kids menu. Would love to go back but won't. ...
