I am just beginning to make cider at home. I took one two-hour class from Nicole at Santa Cruz Cider so I had most of a gallon of cider fermenting in a one-gallon carboy but needed to something with it. I knew I needed to siphon it off and be sanitary about it and bottle it. So I went to Bottoms Up and got a capper, some bottle caps, a siphon and some Five-Star sanitizer. They had everything I needed and were very helpful. And another home brew customer was in the shop and helped me too. very much appreciated. The employees here - Gus comes to mind - are very helpful and will spend a lot of time helping you and pulling ingredients. If you need grain milled, they will do it for you.
