Aceituno's Mexican Food Lake City — Restaurant in Seattle

The evening crew needs work. I was excited to support a small business, and that the restaurant was open a bit later so I could still get a meal after work. Having never been here before I had some questions — the woman who took my order gave me lots of attitude and was honestly just borderline rude. It was off putting from the start. When I pulled up to the window there were no polite exchanges and when she took my money another man came to actually get the change. When he opened the window he just handed me the change - no words, no thank you, nothing. When my food was ready he came again to the window and just thrust the bag my way, again no words - I took it and began to drive off (obviously frustrated) only for them to yell after me because I hadn’t gotten my tortillas. The food was alright - good portions but the carnitas needed more spices and drippings. If my questions had been answered with kindness I probably would’ve gotten the tacos I inquired about, and maybe those would’ve been tastier. I want so badly to try this spot again and have a different experience — but management you gotta look at your people and what they’re sharing...

If this restaurant messes up your online order, they will not refund your money for items they omit or remake the food if you got take out and have left restaurant. Buyer beware.

This restaurant left a significant portion of food out of my online order. However, it was a large order and I didn't notice until I got home. Not a big deal, I just wanted my money back for what was left out.

Well, turns out this isn't possible. I first tried to do so in person at the restaurant, and was told by employee they could not do it at the counter (or make the omitted food), and to use the website interface. Subsequently, I sent three messages through their website contact interface for questions, with no response. When I went back to restaurant a couple weeks later, and told them nobody was responding, they had me write down all relevant information and give to them, and they would give to owner. Again, no response.

I'm leaving this review up until the owner responds. If it's up - they haven't....

Should you eat here?....Yes of course you should because it's good and its fast. It's not fine dining but its better than any other mexican food restaurant in the area. I eat here maybe every other day cause Its convenient.

So if that's the case then why the 2 stars? Because the people never ever ever ever get my order right. Just today I go through the drive thru and order the $17 carne asada plate, when I get home its an order of rolled tacos. They still charged me the $17 though. I should have checked it when I was there but I saw it was the usual girl with glasses operating the drive thru and I felt confident she would get it right this time. Especially when you order something as easily recognizable and iconic as Carne Asada.

Yes the Kirkland location is way better and always consistent, but it is all the way in Kirkland. When you need tacos now, this is the spot. Just make sure you check your order and make sure they...
