This has always been a nice park--a good little playground with a couple of slides, a nice open grassy area and, as of a few years ago, a large skate park. Unfortunately, there always seems to be something sketchy going on. Sometimes it's a group of kids on the playground who are just a little too old to be at the playground, and yet a little too young to be completely unsupervised, and who think it's cool to swear loudly in front of the toddlers. Read moreThis is a great neighborhood park! I live in a nearby apartment building and I love to use the loop walking trail to get some sun and exercise. Has a nice shady area on one side with trees, playground, and picnic tables. On the sunnier side of the park you can find a basketball court, skate park, grassy field, and benches along the trail to sit and take a break. It has slides and amenities set up for patrons 2-5 years old, another set for 5+ years old, and a paved skate park feature adjacent to the playground. I appreciate the many tables and benches as well as the strategically placed shade trees.
