We wanted something quick to eat so we ordered the musubi’s and I’m sorry to say but the spam was borderline beef jerky because it was way overcooked and definitely not edible and for the price they charge you would expect better. I grew up eating spam In Hawai’i and the spam tasted as if it was cooked the day before and refrigerated because when you do that the edges turn really hard . We also got the “Lil Smokiesl meal and it was just another disappointment. Again, they were way overcooked and tough and was not worth the price. There was no “Aloha” in our food because the fact they let overcooked food leave their restaurant and be delivered to a customer just shows they do not care. As a local of O’ahu I’ve never had such poor quality food come from a Hawaiian joint, this is far from “broke da mouf”. I wouldn’t recommend this place, there’s another Hawaiian joint on other side of town where the food quality is much better and actually worth the price.

The building is confusing, it’s in a food court and there should be a sign on the correct door that tells you what restaurants are inside as it’s attached to a uijimayas. The food itself was meh, would not eat here again. Spent $105 on food for three people and it should have been $50 and that would be being nice. The rice is not cooked well in any food item that was got, it’s chewy and over cooked which is disappointing as I got shrimp and rice, which was just a whole lot of over cooked rice, the Mac salad they give you a small amount of but I mean it tasted like low quality Mayo so do you want more of a bad thing? Could get in any mall food court. Also, extra points removed because I ordered pickup and for some reason in a large order, they put the sauce in containers at the bottom of our food collapsing sauce and soaking the bag. Fail all around.

Great spot! Shares building with the Uwajimaya in Chinatown/International District. I had the loco moco. The macaroni salad was delicious. It's homemade, fresh, in-house everyday. It had a bold pepper taste. I love pepper and typically have to add extra pepper to all of my food but this was spot on perfect. The brown gravy was my favorite. Reminded me of my Grandma's homemade gravy she'd make for dinner when I was a kid. I work in that area and frequent the Uwajimaya for lunch on my break a lot. I've passed Aloha Plates for the past two years now and decided to try it finally today. My personal mistake. Will be regular.

Went there to get fried banana balls for my son who really wanted to try them. Went there before they opened and waited. 11am and the wait continued for 7 mins at least. In the food service industry and retail you greet customers! 3 people there, they looked my way several times and not once did anyone say one word! I thought that was extremely rude, and didn't seem like a place that valued their customer or the customer's time. If they were running behind opening up or had an online order first thing, all they had to do was say welcome, we're sorry but we're still getting ready to open...We're doing a online order. We'll be with you shortly. Nobody was there before me. Had to tell my son I couldn't get the banana balls for him to try. He was disappointed. He had been looking forward to them for several days. Definitely will not be back. You can't use basic manners and respect with the public and customers, I'll gladly spend my money elsewhere. I planned on getting 4 which isn't alot of money, but definitely there's a principle involved as well as an opportunity for a repeat customer for the banana balls and other things that sounded great. Your loss Aloha Plates. If anyone else experienced or experiences this I would definitely suggest they leave a...

I have been a customer for the last 15 years and I am very disappointed with my last visit here. They no longer make spam musubi fresh anymore. They have a warmer with pre-made ones and I haven't had an issue before with the quality before but this time it was dry and did not taste very good. It was also the first time they said they didn't have the spicy chicken teriyaki. Not sure if he meant that they were no longer having that on the menu or not. Management was recently changed again and the quality is just not there anymore. Prices have increased which is to be expected but the entrée no longer comes with a side. You now have to pay extra for the side that used to come with your meal. I don't see myself coming here anymore which is a bit unfortunate since I've loved their mac salad and spicy chicken but it's just not worth it to me anymore. They also forgot to give me my mac salad and I didn't notice until I was already driving home. My fault for not checking the bag but all in all, a very disappointing and frustrating experience for myself. Two stars since I did like the teriyaki even though it wasn't what...
