I Love BP food, I used to work in one of their store in CA. Customer service and good food with affordable price was what made the chain store popular. With that being said, I’m a bit disappointed at this location. The food is okay as they have pretty standard pre-prepared package. Yet the rice was cold and hard as rock. However, the real deal breaker was the service. First, we were placed to a seat at a very corner next to the restroom. No menu. No QR code(turned out got dropped off the table yet they didn’t notice). So we waited there for a long time until they finally came here ask if we are ready to order( yet no menu provided) i remember their menu by heart but not everyone came as often as i do. Nd until now, we are not asked for drinks or provided water, at all. Also, they don’t ask us if we wanna the drink with ice or not. And then when we ask to switch one with no ice( cuz they chose the iced one for all of us without asking), they seem a bit impatient as well. Then, during the meal, it’s really hard to get someone here to putoff the fire. Also, when we are all about to finish, one of our friend found out that there are no shrimps in his seafood pot… it’s like lamp pot without lamp. Yet we all felt full and about to check out, then we called up the manager, then the manager keep asking if we wanna shrimp now or any other food. We were full so we don’t want any more food. Then he kinda pushed us to order some drinks which we don’t usually enjoy cuz none of us like milk tea. Yet all he was saying was “it’s easy for us to pay you by food, cuz the biggest discount we can get is 20% off one pot,” we said but we are full and we don’t want any drink or food anymore, again. We asked, “ can u give a discount on the whole check then? “ he replied “ I can’t cuz there is only two shrimp missing from one pot”… gee. At this point, we don’t want to argue anymore. We agreed with two drinks and 20% one pot. Yet, here comes the climax. They didn’t even ask what we want to drink. They just went off and then brought back the check and two made to drink who knows what milk tea to us. Excuse me? Although I kinda figured it’s their cheapest standard milk tea, cuz I worked for them before. At least ask us how much ice or sugar we want right? Although in the end, the manager did automatically took off an appetizer we ordered from the check without asking, which cost about $8. But I guess if you read till here u should feel us now, it’s not about the money. TBH who cares abt the shrimp. But you guys should care. U miss lamp in a lamp pot so to speak! It’s ur faults. And it’s also your problem can’t make a discount bigger than 20%. Not ours. Why it feels like all our fault, not to speak those ignorance up front. I have never had experience like this in any of the BP before, including this one. The store obviously have been much less popular compare to before as well! I don’t wonder why. I love BP before. We are not being rude or ridiculous about our request neither. I’m here to spend time with friends and wanna have a good time here. Hope you don’t ruin it for any one else in the future. I care to write this just because I only want the best for this restaurant. Correct me if I’m being...

I ordered the curry fish ball with 2 stars, and it wasn't as savory as it was the previous two times I ordered it, but that I could live with. What truly made me give this place 1 star was the service. First was the fact that after 15 minutes we still never got water. In fact we had to ask for it ourselves for a whole table of 6. It is a busy place but with the number of workers they have, they should at least be able to provide us with water in a timely manner. As we were ordering, the server kept rushing us and was trying to grab the menus. My friend being a vegetarian, asked if she could have her pork that's included in her order, be put on the side to give to one of my other friends. The server told her no without any apparent reason, but when my friend asked to have the order without the pork, she said she could do that, which made no sense to us because when extra meat is ordered, it comes on a small side plate. The act of putting meat into the broth is the same as putting it on a plate. They never checked up on us or refilled our waters, but they were fast to give us our checks as we were still eating. Upon paying for the bill, we were told that they only took up to a maximum of 4 cards. In previous visits my friends and I have been there in parties of 6, and they let us split our bills individually. I don't know if it's a new policy, but customers should not be forced to pay for each other. After being told that they could only split the bill up to 4 cards, we were telling the cashier which card was paying for which meals. The cashier immediately cut me off, and said "I'm sorry you have to calculate it yourself." I was extremely shocked. Never have I ever been asked at any food service establishment to calculate my own bill, just because the cashier is too lazy. I noticed there was a calculator next to her, and I asked her "Why can't you calculate it? You have a calculator right there." She again responded "we don't do that, you have to do it yourself" while she was grabbing the calculator and handed it to me. That was extremely rude, and never have I ever been asked to do a person's job as a cashier, when I'm the patron coming in to pay for the food services offered. I was appalled, and had to literally process mentally whether or not that just really happened. Because of the cashier's inability to split our bill, I ended up paying for the whole thing, and had to go through the trouble of figuring out who owed me how much based on what they ordered including add-ons. I honestly use to love coming here, but after that last service where we had to ask for water, be ignored except for being rushed to leave, and having to do the cashier's job, I don't think I will ever...

Honestly I like the food, I ordered many times using delivery app. However, this was my first time eating in the restaurant. I ordered two different ones for me & my boyfriend. We clearly pointed out two different foods, one’s spicy and one’s non-spicy. My food came after 1520mins. His food didn’t. Up until 30-40mins, we finally asked the staff for his food, and he said “There’s only one order” which was VERY disappointing. We even ordered two different menus, so the staff must’ve listened to spicy and not spicy menu and must’ve seen it when we pointed it out. After the very loooong wait, we decided not to complaint and order a new one. It came 1015mins after, which means my boyfriend waited for about AN HOUR for his food.

I’m not completely sure if the staff didn’t hear us in the first place, or not, but honestly he should’ve repeat/recheck my order since he could’ve seen that my boyfriend haven’t eaten anything yet after a while and I ordered the regular size for myself and not to share. It was around 4pm at that time so we basically had that as a very late lunch. Very much a disappointment since we had to get the food much later than we expected, but we weren’t able to even complaint because we thought it wasn’t worth a hassle.

Additionally, when I just sat down in the restaurant I saw that they have an app that I could download to collect points so I downloaded it. After all the incident of delayed food, we were discussing about it so we didn’t really pay attention when we pay the bill. So, I didn’t remember to give my barcode from the app.We paid and went out the entrance door, and I decided to come back. I asked them if I can get my points, and they said go to the cashier, and I did. She was saying she can scan the barcode and I showed it to her. She looked like she didn’t know what she was doing and just scanned the barcode and looked at the receipt. And guess what.. My points right now is still zero. I know it’s not a big deal about points but I wished I would’ve gotten a little ‘treat’ from the incident happened earlier, but no.. not at all. Hence it left a bad impression for me about the restaurant itself.

Overall, good food! But the service was really awful and questionable...
