tl;dr: place is way too busy and understaffed to justify a recommendation right now. I realize it's a new restaurant which is why it's 2 stars instead of 1. Save your money for now, maybe check it out in 6-12 months but be very wary.
Took quite a while over the est wait time to get served (said 15-25 mins, waited about 40), then took a long time for a server to come by. There were only 2 servers for the entire restaurant so I do not blame them at ALL for this, but rather blame the management.
I was told there was a $50 gift card promotion if you spent $100, and then conveniently the AYCE is $46 per person so you are required to order a couple other things to reach $100.
We never received the extra things we ordered, and unfortunately since we came near closing time (8pm w/ a 10:30pm closing time), they were not able to make the item that did not get served to us. We were also told that if they remove it from the bill that we could not get the gift card as we'd be at a $99.20 total. This is unbelievably awful customer service over 80 cents and will prevent me from ever coming back.
The food itself was.. okay? The grills were super hot and it made things extremely hard to cook so it's hard to speak on the quality of the meats themselves. The buffet was barren as can be and everything there was nearly ice cold, including tater tots and spring rolls. Feels unsafe?
Also, to top things off, it was not a "$50 gift card" but rather 2x $25 gift certificates that require either a $100 spend to use one, or $150 spend to use two in...
Read moreMy group and I went here on a Saturday and it was quite busy around dinner time. I recommend calling to make a reservation if you have a large group.
We got the choice AYCE selection for $35.95/person, which also includes the side bar. Gratuity of 18% is automatically added to the bill for large groups. The quality of the meat is decent but the texture was too frozen and dry for my liking. It seems like there wasn't enough oil on the grill so the meat will sometimes stick to the grill and leave a residue. I don't know what the issue was but over half of the time, the meat had a charred taste even when it was cooked just right. I wish the meat had more flavor. It was just lacking even with the sauces provided. Besides that, the side bar was a nice addition. I really enjoyed the cheese corn and ddulboki as well as the side dishes. At the very end, they offered complimentary ice cream cups (vanilla, chocolate or strawberry).
Despite how busy it was, the staff checked up on us regularly and responded promptly. While we were here, there were multiple birthdays celebrated here. The staff would come out and play a birthday song and bring out a sign to wish you a happy birthday. The ambiance of the restaurant was lively, although a bit loud. They would play live sets of edm music. I love edm personally but thought it was a bit distracting and made it difficult to have a conversation.
Overall, it was a good experience. Next time I would like to give the premium...
Read moreCame here at about 9pm on a Thursday. They were accommodating to the fact that 2 of our 6 members were going to be about 30 minutes late.
It took about 30 minutes for the food to come which felt slow, but wasn’t an issue since that’s about when our last 2 people sat with us. We eventually flagged down our server a second time after looking for her about 15 minutes for more water. Being thirsty at a kbbq isn’t fun and we virtually spent the whole meal like that. We got to get 3 rounds of meat and about as many water pitchers throughout our meal. About 10pm our server hid from us and ignored us. Avoiding eye contact and generally avoiding the table area. After about 30 minutes of being thirsty and still wanting to order more meat, I got out of my seat and went to the front where I found her and asked her that we needed water and wanted to order more. She immediately did both of those things, but we never saw her again after that. Pretty terrible service.
We additionally had grill issues with lots of flame coming up, which slowed down our meal as well as they kept changing the grill cover.
If you come here, don’t. Just go to the lamb hotpot next door. Solid service and better food overall.
If you insist on going here, don’t go near close. They will neglect you and you won’t get your...
