Extremely Disappointed in How We Were Treated We went here for my friends birthday party, everything was fine till we wanted to get on the mechanical bull. Things took a terrible turn when a woman, who was standing in the way, was asked if she was in line. She made a horrific and racist comment, referring to one of my friends as "a terrorist" simply for trying to get on the bull. This was not only offensive but completely unprovoked.
To make matters worse, when we confronted her about this, she became physical, attempting to hit my friend. Security intervened, but instead of addressing the situation fairly, we were all immediately kicked out. Despite our attempts to explain that we were the ones who had been attacked first, and even with bystanders telling security that we didnât provoke anything, we were still forced out without even being allowed to speak to a manager or owner. Side note, the women who started everything got to stay inside.
Itâs incredibly disheartening to see a situation escalate like this without any regard for the facts, and worse, to have security side with the person who started the entire conflict. We left feeling disrespected, humiliated, and with the feeling that the staff does not care about their customersâ safety or well-being.
I understand that situations can be challenging, but the way this was handled was absolutely unacceptable. I would never recommend this place to anyone, and I sincerely hope they take a closer look at how they train their staff to handle these types...
Read moreUPDATE: I see Cowgirls replied below saying that they 'discontinued' their gift cards 7 years ago and 'honored' them up to the supposed five year expiration date. However, there was no expiration date disclosed or on the back of the cards. This is ILLEGAL IN WASHINGTON STATE. Cowgirls, please read up on WA RCW Chapter 19.240. You are NOT allowed to arbitrarily set expiration dates after they're already issued without an expiration date. It is not the customers' fault that you changed your system and didn't transfer over gift card values to your new system. HORRIBLE AND ILLEGAL PRACTICE! I have filed with the BBB.
They wonât honor their own issued/paid for gift cards! I have $500 in unused Cowgirls gift cards that I went to use Sept 16, 2023, and the business refused to honor them, with claims that they âchangedâ their system. The manager claimed they didnât have a way to check or honor the gift cards and that weâre basically out of luck and out of $500 in gift cards that they now wont fulfill, even though there were no disclosed expiration dates and WA law prohibits businesses from scamming people out of money that have been purchased in gift cards....
Read moreThere was a female bartender tonight that was being fairly rude to me and my group of female coworkers that were visiting Seattle for the week for work. After waiting at the bar for a solid 20 minutes with no one around me, the female bartender with curly hair and short shorts that was dancing on the bar table gave me the most intense attitude and rudeness that Iâve experienced so far and my work travels. I had solidly been trying to wait at the bar for 10 minutes to try to get her attention and when she approached me, she almost threw a drink in my face. It was the most hostility Iâve encountered when visiting a new city in this country and expect more inclusivity and a place like Seattle.
This happened on 9 July 31 at around 11 PM and they were only two bartenders at the bar at the moment. The one with blonde hair was very nice and pleasurable to deal with while the other one just consistently presented hostility throughout the whole entire night that I was there, I suggest rethinking the bartenders you select when hiring given that they should be more welcoming and inclusive, and they almost...
