Happy Lemon U Village — Restaurant in Seattle

First of all, happy lemon is a fad that is way overrated. It is an unhealthy drink place with a lot of synthetic ingredients and sugar.

The staff here is extremely rude and disrespectful to customers.

I ordered here 8/18 Friday 6 PM. The asian-looking female cashier is really rude. Very impatient and rushing, judgmental, and seems to be especially condescending to asian customers. I was only spending 5 seconds to decide on a drink, this female cashier then said to me:"Do you need a minute?". Oh what, I need to step aside if I do need 1 minute to order? When I asked for a sugar level adjustment, she said "You cannot adjust blablabla". First of all, customers are not making the drink, so it is not the customers who cannot adjust the sugar level but really the Happy Lemon staff cannot adjust. Instead of sounding superior, she was expected to be respectful and should have said" sorry, we cannot adjust blabla" to take the responsibility rather than telling the customers what they can and cannot do.

And eventually they got me a wrong drink after all this bad attitude....

Based on my experience, i’m very very dissatisfied about this place. I will not recommend it. Here are my reasons that I disliked this place:

Number one: poor service. I will give the service one star out of five stars. The service was super slow. We ordered two drinks, but when they called our name, they forgot the second drink and we have to repeat that again. Number two: the drink itself: I got the strawberry shortcake smoothie with the mango crystal Boba, I hated it. I asked for no sugar, when I taste the drink, it was still sweet. I thought that the mango crystal Boba was the natural mango and I did not thought about the sugary Boba. I thought that the mango Boba was real fruit. When I taste the mango crystal Boba, it was sweet. Number three: the money itself: we spent $17 for two drinks, I did not satisfied my drink. Please refund the money. I’m not sure why this place has the rating of 4.3 stars? Something is not right. In my opinion it should have the rating of 1.5 star. Trust me, do not spend your money at happy lemon. There’s lots of options for bubble...

Long-time boba tea drinker here and I have only just discovered the bubble waffle! My wife and I were at University Village and feeling peckish from running errands. Dinner time was still a few hours away and we wanted a quick bite. The Happy Lemon caught our eye and we were intrigued by the bubble waffle, which seemed to suggest a different taste sensation than regular waffles. We ordered the original bubble waffle and two boba drinks. The waffle was really good, with a crispy shell and soft interior, and much lighter than a regular waffle since it’s bubble-shaped and hollow inside. It came with a sweet creamy dipping sauce, which complemented it very nicely. The boba drinks were very good as well. We were very pleased to discover the Happy Lemon and will definitely be back. And I will try the memo...
