Highly recommend this adorable cafe for their delicious pastries and food.

Food portions are massive, and pastries are quite large too.

Pad thai w/ chicken - One of the best pad thai I've had. Perfect balance of sweet, salty, spicy, sour, and funky. Most pad thai I've had in Seattle is dumbed down a bit, whether to save on costs or cater to an American palate. I can tell this pad thai uses real tamarind, and it's not shy with the fish sauce and dried shrimp. Comes with thai dried chili flakes, peanuts, and lime to augment to your liking. Only small thing is I wish the chicken were cut into smaller pieces.

Basil chicken rice bowl - Seasoning was delicious - soy saucey, fish saucey, a bit sweet and aromatic from the basil. Quite spicy at 2/3 spice level. Again, wish the chicken were cut into smaller pieces. Would also have loved if it included stir fried vegetables.

Egg tart - Pretty good, especially reheated in the oven! Surprisingly the custard was not sweet at all. I still enjoyed it, but I think it would be better sweeter.

Chicken curry puff - Very large, very good! The fish sauce flavor came out a bit more than expected.

Mango sticky rice ice cream - Coconut sticky rice, fresh mangoes, toasted nuts, and a scoop of ice cream. Yum!

Service was very friendly and cheerful. Atmosphere was very cute and cozy. Prices are very reasonable. For example, you can get a slice of crepe cake for half the...

I came here on a Sunday for my third visit. My first two visits was extremely well, the lady working was nice and food was delicious. On my third visit I was looking forward on trying more food on the menu but the older man working was really rude. I had ordered ahead of time over the phone letting him know I wanted light ice on the Thai tea. When I came in I started paying and he started making the Thai tea, I noticed the cup was completely full of ice so I asked if I could get light ice. He than angrily said if I give you less ice than it’s going to be completely hot. At this point, I thought I wouldn’t have had to explain myself but I’ll have too so I said that I’m sensitive to really cold stuff and that my brain freezes get pretty bad. He than angrily took a small scoop out and exclaimed this ok. I was at this point over the whole tantrum he was throwing so I just said told him if he can take half the ice off and I think I’ll be ok with it. I walked to the table to start eating, 10 minutes pass so I turn around too see what happened to the ice tea and he’s just sitting back on his phone. My Thai tea there on the counter. Not trying to be picky or anything but I feel like most places call you up when your order is ready or they just bring it to you. This experience makes me not want to come back when he’s...

Step into Kanom Sai Cafe and you're immediately transported to a whimsical world of cute, girly decor. From the pastel color scheme to the adorable knick-knacks and plush pillows, this cafe has an undeniably charming atmosphere that will delight your inner child.

But don't let the sugary-sweet ambiance fool you - the real star here is the authentic and flavorful Thai cuisine. The beverages, like the classic Thai Iced Tea, are perfectly balanced and utterly refreshing.

I've got the Pad Thai is an absolute must-try, boasting the perfect blend of flavors with dried shrimp, peanuts, lime and chili pepper making it incredibly moreish. Another highlight is the Mushroom Curry Puffs - the curry filling has just the right kick of heat, with fresh ingredients encased in a crispy outer shell giving way to a soft interior.

Of course, no Thai meal is complete without dessert, and Kanom Sai doesn't disappoint. The seasonal mango sticky rice is a sweet revelation.

A breath of fresh air...in what feels like a suffocating bubble of chain fast casual spots - Kanom Sai reminds me of my childhood. You're greeted with a genuine warmth that's so palpable, you can taste it in your pastries and drinks. My family and I have longed to find a neighborhood that offers what Kanom Sai does and we're so glad we made it here. Don't miss the pink sign - it's what initially caught my attention. Admittedly I get the this green tea several times a week and have been working my way through their pastries. After school hours are buzzing with middle school tweens hanging out that makes you feel like you're in a different era. Kanom sai somehow manages to feel nostalgic and comforting but with modern offerings (crepe cakes, boba, milk buns). I hope they stick around because we need more like them!
