☕️Top 9 Coffee Spots You Can't Miss in Seattle This Spring

If you’re a remote worker, you’re going to love Union Coffee! It has one of the fastest wifi signals I’ve ever seen in a cafe. (I think I uploaded a 4gb video in 5 or so minutes.) Obviously, the location is beautifully decorated. It’s even lit with smart lights that change hue. There’s a fantastic upstairs space where people quietly work, collaborate, or take Zoom calls. The coffee was excellent. I ordered my first coquito latte. (Coquito is similar to eggnog – it has notes of coconut, cinnamon, and rum.) I also enjoyed the pastry I ordered. If you need a place to get work done, I can’t recommend Union Coffee enough.

I was feeling like a pile of trash today but the second I walked into this shop my mood shot up thanks to the atmosphere. The music, plants, and baristas made me feel very comfortable and welcome. I ordered their Natural Papua New Guinea espresso and it was a real citrus fruit bomb. They offer a lot of different retail roasts with a great variety of processes and some co-ferments which I LOVE. The beans are a bit on the pricey side ($23-$27 for 12oz) but the quality is 100% worth it. Overall, I highly recommend this shop if you need a welcoming space and love modern coffee trends.

i am so proud of my husband, Zack Reinig, the owner of Union Coffee. this beautiful little shop is bright, happy, clean, and full of smiles. it's only been open for a week, but it's already a sweet little community spot, and i can't wait to see what it becomes.

Zack has been making me delicious coffee every morning for seven years, and this shop is really an extension of his most attentive, tweaky, gregarious, and passionate self.

Zack was a record producer and sound engineer in the independent music industry for 15 years working with bands like Built to Spill, Black Heart Procession, Blonde Redhead, Sleater-Kinney and the Shins, and brought an intense passion to the build-out of the space. the ceiling is audio engineered for perfect music listening experiences, and Zack is hoping to spend some evenings every month playing music in the loft, and inviting people from the neighborhood for sessions. (i can't wait for people to see his beloved "gear!")

Union Coffee is a great spot for getting a little work done, your quick morning coffee stop, coffee dates, and families, too. the hot cocoas are made from molly moon's hot fudge, and our daughter, February Moon, and i spend most mornings having yogurt bowls or hard cooked eggs and chocolate croissants. we hope to meet many friends at Union Coffee, new and old, for...

Union is a coffee shop for everyone, but especially for coffee people. They use very high quality equipment (Victoria Arduino Black Eagle 😍) paired with a high degree of staff expertise in coffee preparation. Your espresso based drinks are sure to be stunning on their own, or with one of their in-house flavors; but, the rotating options for pour-over are always a treat. As a multi-roaster cafe, they put in a lot of effort to source interesting and delicious coffees from various roasters, with plenty of options for whole beans to take home.

The staff are super friendly, and committed to having a positive presence and influence in their community. Because they actively put their values into practice, they’ve created a cafe that feels safe, welcoming, and supportive. They are truly an excellent example of how to run a small business with integrity, and I wish that more Seattle coffee shops and businesses...

I didn't think I liked Lavender Lattes until I had it here at Union Coffee. Never have I ever had an emotional reaction to a beverage before. This was unlike any feelings of nostalgia to comfort foods. I had a perfectly made drink and I fear my attempt to describe it will only cheapen it. I don't know what went into my latte but it legitimately toyed with my raw feelings with every sip. Not to be more dramatic than I already am but I enjoyed my drink outside on a beautiful early afternoon with the Autumn foliage and at one point nearly cried. Then I nearly cried again for a wholly different reason when my drink was depleted. The barista was amazing and a delight in every way possible. Union Coffee somehow found a special nook in my vapid soul and I almost don't want to come back again but can't wait to be back at...
