I was one of the first 100 customers at Lune Cafe’s grand opening and got a promo code for one free classic item per day for six months. The promo allowed one drink and one dessert per day, up to $20. I used it for a few months, always followed the rules, never shared it, and never redeemed more than once a day.
Then my code just stopped working. I reached out, and instead of giving me a clear reason, they kept repeating that it was flagged by an “automated system” and that employees had no control. This was confusing because one of their employees had actually told me in person that it would be resolved and that an email would be sent out. That never happened.
After multiple emails and asking several times what breach supposedly occurred, they finally told me it was because I used the code to order three drinks in one transaction. That never happened. I didn’t bother asking them to double check because at that point, it was obvious they’d just stick to whatever their system said, even if it was wrong.
What made it worse was when I told them I’d be writing an honest and thoughtful review because I was disappointed in how the situation was being handled. I had already accepted I wasn’t getting the code back. But they responded by saying I was “threatening” them with a negative review, which felt dismissive and defensive.
A friend of mine had the same issue—his code was also flagged, but when he reached out, they reinstated it. When I brought that up, they suddenly said they had switched to a new system that doesn’t allow manual changes, and that my friend’s case was from the “old” system. That explanation felt like a convenient excuse to avoid dealing with mine. The whole experience didn’t feel fair or transparent, and honestly, a company that handles things like this isn’t one worth supporting.
I didn’t break the rules. I didn’t demand anything unreasonable. I just wanted a clear answer and fair treatment. If this is how they treat early supporters, I’d be cautious relying on their promotions or expecting respectful customer service when...
Read moreWent here for the first time to tonight. We were excited to try it and thankful they were open late. When we arrived we were told to wait outside the door because they were over capacity. They had an employee standing at the door the whole time, ensuring people weren’t coming inside. We waited around 20 min before we were allowed to go inside to order.
After ordering we went to a table, which we had to wipe down because it was filthy. Then we waited and waited and waited for our food. We watched all the people that came in after us get their orders. After about 20 min inside I went up to inquire and was told that there were seven orders ahead of us. How could that be when the only people in there arrived after us?? Apparently people were getting annoyed as they were waiting outside and they were placing online orders that were ready when they finally got inside.
We eventually got our order after some back and forth and multiple people involved to figure it out. We had to take it to go since it took entirely too long to get our simple order. Some gentlemen came over to us to apologize as we were leaving. Maybe the manager or owner - it was not clear who he was. While he apologized, he didn’t seem to be doing anything to fix the issues. They had many of people working, but they were really, really inefficient. Need to focus on service and cleaning (tables and restroom were all filthy and no tp in the restroom).
The milkshake was good and the crepe was just okay. It might have been better if we had been able to eat it warm instead of...
Read moreGlad I finally stopped by. The place is a nice little find. They offer several types of desserts, but on this visit i came for the crepes. The crepes aren't too expensive and are decent quality. A little light on the toppings compared to other shops in the area.
At this shop you order your own food from a kiosk. The workers there are there to more the foods, so don't expect amazing service at your table. It's cafe style so you have to pick up your order from the counter when it's ready.
I enjoyed the ambiance of this location. Very bright and inviting. I didnt have a problem finding a place to sit and enjoy my snacks. I like their choice of decor. I remember how ran down the interior of these building in pioneer square used to be. I'm sure I visited this place years ago when it was something different. I'm glad they were able to work with the old brick and turn this place into a lovely dessert shop.
parking? It's down town seattle. Also the parking in front its pretty scary as the ledge is at door level. Which means you can open the passenger door unless you park far enough away from the curve, which is what I did. At least I got a spot right out front.
I highly recommend this shop if your in the area and looking for a sweet treat. They offer so maoptfood options. Even more than just dessert. They are truly a hard to pass up cafe in the area competing with the other great cage shops...
