Eons ago I lived in Naples for about 5 yrs... my surprise experience at Uno reminded me so much of that period, the warmth of service & Italian authenticity I haven't experienced anywhere in Seattle in my 30+ yrs since I transplanted... it got even better...the owner offered me some classical Turkish dishes he has reserved for select few of his regulars like the national favorite LAHMACUN (pronounced Laa'maajoon)!!! They even have the Turkish national beverage AYRAN (pronounced I-run) that's traditionally served w/ Lahmacun in Turkey! Ayran is so much better, i.e. healthier & way more refreshing than any kefir product one can get anywhere in Seattle!!! Just like in Naples or Istanbul the interiors are not distracting from the main pointers, here: getting served affordable great authentic food made w/ love from scratch in a very clean (not sterile!) & friendly environment ...after all the main attraction is always the customer & their friends & that food & socializing is basic human need...

If you’re seeking an exceptional dining experience in Seattle, look no further than Numero Uno Pizza, This laid-back restaurant offers pizzas, and classic baklava desserts.

One of the standout dishes is their Turkish pizza, known as Lahmacun. This delicacy features a blend of minced lamb and beef, onions, parsley, bell peppers, and select herbs on a thin, crisp dough. The harmonious combination of flavors and textures makes it a must-try for both newcomers and aficionados of Turkish cuisine.

The owner, Unal, is renowned for his warm hospitality and dedication to providing an outstanding dining experience. His passion for authentic flavors and commitment to customer satisfaction are evident in every aspect of the restaurant.

Whether you’re craving traditional pizza or eager to explore unique offerings like Lahmacun, Numero Uno Pizza delivers a memorable culinary journey that captures the essence of Turkish and...

As a native New Yorker who has traveled quite a lot, this is the best pizza I have had out of New York State. Period. The service was incredibly friendly and expedient. It is one of the only places I've seen that still serves pizza by the slice and it is SO worth the visit! We tried the beef and blue cheese pizza and weren't sure but thought "Hey what the heck?" Honestly I was not only impressed by the flavor but by the presentation as well. The blue cheese was patterned in this cool spider web design which let you get just the right amount in each bite. The ambiance was totally a classic pizzeria which made me feel like I was at my childhood pizzeria at the end of my street, but on the opposite side of the street. Totally recommend these guys! They are friendly, affordable, and their pizza is...

Best Lahmahcun and Pidé in Seattle!

I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors at Numero Uno Pizza in Downtown Seattle. I’ve been coming to Seattle for years, but this was my first time here — and now I know I’ll be back. The pizza is excellent: I tried the halal pepperoni, cheese, and two veggie pizzas, and they were all delicious. The dough, in particular, was outstanding — soft, fresh, and flavorful. What I also really liked is the flexibility: you can order by the slice or get a whole pizza, which is very convenient. I especially want to thank the kind lady at the counter. She treated me with warmth and respect, almost like family, and made my visit feel truly special. Her hospitality, along with the great food, made this experience unforgettable. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Downtown Seattle!🤗

Ordered a gluten free crust pizza for $30 and it was pretty tasteless, and the edges of the pizza were burnt along with the rest of the pizza being unevenly cooked. I also found the pizza too highly cross contaminated for me, compared to other pizza places. It took 25 minutes to get the pizza as well after being told it would take 10 minutes or so. I was told the size of the gluten free pizza would be their normal big size, and it turned out to be smaller. I asked for a partial refund for the difference and the cashier said they were not allowed to do that, and offered me a couple drinks or a couple free (non-gluten free) pizza slices instead. Overall, it was definitely not worth the price I paid for it and you can get better value & taste from directly across the street.
