Mikou Teriyaki — Restaurant in Seattle

I think Maps is asking me to review Mikou Teriyaki because it's finally learned that I am not at the Jack in the Box just north of it. I am actually in the Riverview neighborhood across the river and up the hill but Maps frequently thinks I am in Georgetown. I was about to click the I didn't visit button then realized, yes I have just not recently. I think its been about a year since Ive been there. Anyway the food has always been great, price is good and the customer service has been incredible; even when I was stuck on the other side of the river waiting for the bridge to close and got there after closing they were polite and didn't seem bothered. Thinking about it I think next time Maps thinks I am at Mikou Teriyaki I will...

Two meals... One the Spicy chicken, which ranked a "stellar" from our very experienced teriyaki dinner. He says it's great, but needs the hot oil to make the bell ring! The second diner chose the Mushroom chicken. Lots 'n lots of sauted onions with large pieces cut up mushrooms and chicken. Diner had to peck around a bit for the chicken but the number of chunky were large and tasty. This diner struggles a bit with onion, so down a few points for high onion content. This place has a "Good" rating for cleanliness. This was a fair rating as the atmosphere was quite seedy. Lots of clutter, the tables felt sticky, and the racks holding bottled and canned drinks were really gross. The service however was friendly and my order was done quickly. I got the chicken and gyoza combo. It was good for the most part and the serving size was great for the price. But, the chicken had quite a bit of char on it and teriyaki sauce had a smokey burnt flavor. This could be a good or bad thing depending on your taste. The gyoza was very typical of other...
