My new go to spot for carne asada tacos. I drive past this place all the time when heading to work. What makes the tacos so good is the variety and quality of their salsas. I've been to quite a few taquerias across King county and most places skimp on their salsas, diluting them with water to save cost and putting them in bottles. You'll get a watery, flavorless salsa on your tacos. This place has several versions, like the green guacamole salsa, pineapple habenero salsa, salsa Verde and roja. All of the are delicious with the tacos. They do have a self serve salsa bar with all your favorite condiments. I believe their tacos would stand out if they made their own fresh tortillas but, you would get the standard pre-made taqueria style tortillas. That is one of the things I appreciated taco places like Carmellos tacos, is their freshly made tortillas. I will definitely be back to try out their other menu items, so far the tacos are not bad.

I usually don’t write reviews for restaurants but I must say this is THE BEST Mexican place in Seattle. If you live in Seattle you know Mexican places here are absolutely horrible and the price is outrageous. But Taqueria La Rienda is totally different than any of the other mediocre Mexican restaurants in the city. It is a little outside of the urban area but believe me it’s worth a trip. The food is always amazing and the price is something others can’t beat! They never go stingy on the portions and the owners are very nice and genuine! If you’ve been looking for a decent and authentic Mexican place in Seattle, try them out!

Coming from LA, I have tried dozens of places to find the best tacos and basic Mexican dishes in Seattle. This place takes the cake. Bunch of kids helping run the place? ✅️ Great food with great portions? ✅️ An Abuela who knows your needs and makes you feel warm and fuzzy, before your food is even served? ✅️ Tuesdays, their deals are smashing, but in all days their food is smashing.

This has been our weekly go to spot for tacos, especially for taco tuesday, you can't beat the price (around $1.50 a taco on taco tues.) They have the freshest ingredients and an amazing salsa bar with all the topping options available.

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would in a heartbeat. No questions & agreed by my entire fam & friends & people at work, these are one of the best street tacos around, and trust I've eaten a ton of tacos in my time and, no joke, I've been to a majority of taco joints/spots/stands/trucks/restaurants in the Seattle area. But don't take my word for it, go find out for yourself and you can thank...
