Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream Columbia City — Restaurant in Seattle

I was visiting from New York for the week and stopped in here all but one night (only because we were out too late). Everyday the staff were all so friendly despite the long lines and sometimes ruder clientele that may have walked in. The ice cream was genuinely the best I’ve ever had. They also were accommodating with me wanting to add some of the blueberry compote to Mollys Favorite Sundae ( 10/10 would recommend ). I haven’t stopped thinking about it. I got a hat but regret not grabbing more merchandise I’ve been talking about this as the highlight of my trip. If you’re in the area you have no reason not to stop in.

Okay, so the ice cream is great, especially when there’s no line. And I’ve had great experiences at this Molly moons with other workers!! However this one girl named June was exceptionally rude yesterday, and seemed impatient even though we were the only people in line. The staff was inattentive and multiple customers that walked in started out with enthusiasm, and just from their interaction with her, it killed it. It made me and others uncomfortable to be there. She seems to like her coworkers and would lose all expression in her face when a customer would walk in. It took a long time to get her to notice I was there, even though she was standing right at the register. I just wanted to beat the heat in A/C, with some epic ice cream and her attitude really...

Molly Moon’s ice cream is the best - creamy and balanced with just the right of sweetness. They also rotate out seasonal flavors each month and often collaborate with other local businesses, like Sugimoto Tea. I’ve never had a bad flavor there, but I’m super partial to Birthday Cake. Their ice cream cakes are good for celebrations, and they always stock nice quality merch in-stores.

The employees are super nice and will give out samples. Molly Moon’s operate on a no-tip model, pays fair wages, and uplifts the local community, such as by supporting local organizations or celebrating their anniversaries and milestones and giving away freebies.
