Update: Cats out of the bag about Monkey Pup! In order to get a table for 8 PM Friday night trivia you should plan to be there around 7-7:15. It quickly feels up and they won't let you in if they are at capacity. It costs $3 per person (cash only) and you can have up to 6 people on a team. There are definitely regulars that come every Friday!

Recently visited for their anniversary (16 or 19, can't remember which) and they had fun special prizes for trivia. Our team came in 6th place and we got to pick from a treasure chest of goodies.

I absolutely love this place. Everytime I stop by they really make you feel welcome. I was there during the karaoke and a couple times after that. It's really nice to just be able to sit down and try a few drinks. The service is really quick as long as it's not right after trivia. The place is relatively clean, the drinks are on the stronger side if you ask for mixed drinks but I don't mind that at all. I usually go for the porter on tap.
